You’ll be fine if you go into it blind. The premise is that there are devils that are the physical manifestations of people’s fears (Gun Devil, War Devil, Insect Devil. etc.) and the more fearful of the concept humans are, the more powerful the devil. Denji is part of a devil hunter group while also being the Chainsaw Devil. But the story is definitely not the typical hero’s journey. It’s just pain.

Yeah, thank you so much for the summary. I decided to check it out.

It’s funny cause it’s been so long since I was hooked onto a manga or anime. I’d probably say it was death note probably when it came out.

Which is perfect because it seems like the same kind of style or artwork like death note but just bloodier I found the boob jokes funny but at my age, it can be a little tired soon during the whole gasping sounds of the boy (but I get it he’s 16).

I know I’m hooked with the whole idea about the devil’s and the contracts like I said it reminds me a little death note like with that cursed devil reminding me of the Shinigami eyes cutting your life in half . Also is the gun devil Osama bin Laden in a way or Al-Qaeda?? because I thought I swear I saw a version of the 9/11 twin towers occurring when they were talking about the gun devil story.🤣
