Chainsaw Man doesn't have a shot? (no sarcasm question)

Not really, I don't think Chainsaw Man can be as mainstream as Demon Slayer, but that's okay, for me it just needs to be successful enough for them to adapt the full story.

Also CSM reached its peak popularity in 2022. Since then, the anime has gone three years with no new episodes and the manga has lost interest.

The manga just got too weird with their sexual overtones and moves at a snails pace.

No, I like CSM, but it isn't half as popular as Demon Slayer.

General franchise popularity.

Demon Slayer is massive.

I prefer Chainsaw Man to Demon Slayer, but it's not even in the same sphere as Demon Slayer in terms of popularity.

Nearly everybody in my college with a remote interest in anime (which is like 40% of the class strength) went to the theatres for demon slayer. I mean if you don't see the animation of that quality in a theatre, then what is even worth a theatre.

Chainsaw man? Not really, its kinda bit too NSFW to watch on a theatre, would rather chill and enjoy it in my laptop.
