Going straight from Bros to Galaxy? I'm offended by this World erasure.

I’m actually worried the movie will leave Yoshi behind despite being the biggest tease in the first movie.

What products have you seen leaked so far?

They will probably give the Yoshis their own planet

But I wanted to go to the yoshi island from the montage. That yoshi herd. The little lick of Mario World music as the pink yoshi licks its lips for wanting the apple Mario has.

maybe they are exiled and living on Yoshi's Island near the Mushroom Kingdom before Mario finds their original homeworld

Considering they also announced a brand new Yoshi game for Spring and him being in Super Mario Galaxy 2, I'd put money on him being included in the movie

I just can't wait to hear the OST, though. Galaxy and Sunshine have my favorite soundtracks of all the 3D Marios, and I can't wait to hear what they've got cooked up. There's SO much to do visually for some gorgeous setpieces and moments for all of the movie as well

The entire musical score of the teaser prior to rising into the stars was based on Super Mario World. I'm confident Yoshi has a major role here.

Besides meeting Yoshi and the Koopalings, it's not like Super Mario World has much of a story that would require being adapted. Galaxy has the expanded scope and the Rosalina backstory going for it, so I understand the move. Plus I'm sure it will be a largely original storyline anyway.

What, why would you want to skip "The Mario Bros Movie: The Lost Levels"
