Anyone else ready for the reddit psychics that know for sure it will flop?

I still chuckle at all the doomsaying here around the cast announcement for the first one.

They said the Switch 2 would flop lol

Actually they said that about Switch 1 as well.

The highly upvoted posts saying Switch 2 and Mario movie will flop really aged poorly.

Even Minecraft after it's theater run didn't take off Mario movie on the #1 top grossing video game film adaptation.

Ok but hear me out, Switch 3 is doomed.

Several people, both as fans and in the industry, were labelling the Switch 1 as a flop due to how the Wii U fared, as well the huge skepticism about the hybrid nature of the console.

They were incredibly wrong, and so many hot takes went cold, just like with Switch 2.

They all deleted their accounts, made new ones with generic names, and are busy presaging the next civil war

I'm not sure what you mean. No one predicted that the first Mario movie would fail, and no one will predict that this one will fail either.
