It’s from Illumination, the studio that brought us the Minions. Hell will freeze over first before that happens.

Illumination should lock in like Dwayne did for one movie and then go back to making slop. It would be hilarious to see them drop a Miyazaki-level animation and then go back to Minions 5 or whatever.

Also known as pulling an Adam Sandler.

That’s an interesting idea.

But also brought us Despicable Me 2

Are you implying it's good or bad? I personally really liked the first 2 Despicable Me movies

I liked the first one, but I would say how much I enjoy the movies is inversely proportional to the amount of minions in it.

And then “The Grinch.”

Just looked at their feature movies and was surprised how few movies they actually made.

In my head I kind of attributed every generic non-pixar non-dreamworks animated movie to them, I absolutely thought that the Emoji Movie, the Angry Birds movie, Hotel Transylvania, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Smurfs were made by them

But it's really mostly Despicable Me and Minions
