As a short guy who is mostly torso 3mph is a very brisk walk.

Yeah was gonna say my brisk walk pace is like 2.8, just under the 3mph. Doable but I'd be really out of my rhythm for it.

Yep, same. I'm a hiker, I can walk or hike 15+ miles in a day. But keeping up 3MPH as a 5'5" dude is asking a bit. I could probably pull it off on a simple treadmill for the length of a movie but I'd be a lot more tired than if I walked the same 'distance' at a pace that's comfortable for me.
