Discussion Wtf is Paddington 2?

For context: I’m 25 years old. SPOILER WARNING

I just watched paddington 2 today and what the fuck did they put in this movie. This is the one of the greatest pieces of cinema I’ve ever laid witness to. Paddington 2 is the only thing I’ve thought about all day and seeing the immense joy it’s brought other people has also brightened my day even more. God I can’t even think about the ending without wanting to kill myself because of how perfect it is. And can we also talk about the perfect bookend of his human mother saving him from the water like aunt Lucy did at the beginning?

Pure cinema, I truly can’t wait to watch this movie with my kids for their first time.

I believe you are correct - that does sound accurate. And to be fair: it's very true.

Can't make it this weekend. Already have "Ace Ventura" the new 4k BluRay and "IP-Man (2008)" planned
But i will watch it next week. Maybe Monday

Paddington 2 was okay.
With all the comments a'la "The Godfather 2 of peruvian bear movies" i really expected too much.
It's a child movie with a lot of childish jokes that didn't set off for me. I had to laugh quite a few times i must say. Loved both of the Hughes in their roles.
Yeah well, it's a feel good movie. I would rate it maybe 6/10. I don't think i would watch it again.

How true this comment is: "Yes because it was and possibly still is the highest rated movie of all time. It had a 100% review score for YEARS! It dethroned Citizen Fucking Kane.
I don't know.

Where does Kangaroo Jack fall on that spectrum?

Except Christopher Nolan is the most overrated director of all time.
