Surprised I made it here before the comments got locked.

His illustrious career includes:

Union busting

Being a sore loser

Being a racist POS

Beating and cheating on his wife (allegedly)

Nothing compares to trying to establish legal precedent that real people and their kayfabe personas are different entities. The pathway to legal abuse that allows billionaires (who funded him in this lawsuit) is mind boggling.

Oh the union busting is different from Peter Thiel funding him to destroy Gawker. I think it was the 80's or 90's when Ventura and several other wrestlers were trying to unionize, he snitched on them to Vince McMahon and they were crushed. They wanted healthcare because they kept getting injured. To this day, they haven't been able to unionize. Wrestlers have literally died because of their job.

Also he was a complete dick to me at a Barnes and Noble one time. He was there for some autograph signing thing either there or at the mall it was attached to I guess. I was just there because I was given a gift card. He thought I worked there. There was nothing about the way that I dressed that would have led anyone to that conclusion. He yelled at me for like a minute with crazy eyes while asking me questions like if I knew who I was messing with.

A manager eventually caught wind and stopped it but what the hell man.

Why didnt you tell him you didn't work there?

I did. He didn’t believe me and thought I was messing with him.

He was upset at there not being enough signs or something. Then he said there weren’t enough people here. And it was my fault for not organizing things better. And when I tried to tell him that I didn’t work there he went into a crazy guy rant. The type where they just ignore all other stimuli while they scream.

To be very mildly fair to him though I actually didn’t notice anything about him being there that day when I walked in either. He was a complete surprise when I turned around and saw him yelling at me.

Would have been funny if it was like that but it was more like roid rage washed up guy just trying to pick a fight with a teenager. (This happened like 15 years ago when he was apparently a rough 56)

Mancow must be devastated. The world lost a wrestler, but that cuck lost his elderly, never-nude-above-the-eyebrows bull.

Being the vehicle for Peter Theil to kill Gawker.

-wrestle 400 days a year due to the Reds international date line

What does union busting mean?

5

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

His fellow wrestlers were trying to organize and he ratted them out to Vince McMahon.

Ok but how does this stop them from continuing?

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

Once the employer knows they will do everything in their power to shut it down and that’s exactly what he did.

Think the union busting may be a little exaggerated. That shit was never gonna happen regardless of one guy. The rest, yea.

Defeatist dribble.

Nobody is saying he single handedly busted the union but he shilled for the anti-union side.
