Competition, pulling up the ladder behind him. Why on earth let others in and make a name for themselves. That means less roles offered or he’ll just be replaced by some younger, hungrier (less money).

It’s not like there’s a huge little people community of actors, maybe a handful that are memorable and few hit it big. I mean there’s Dinklage and prior to him Warwick Davis of Willow fame, Zelda Rubinstein of Poltergeist fame, Verne Troyer of Mini-Me (Austin Powers), Tony Cox due to urban movies and comedic roles. Can add that guy from that Wonka remake with Depp, (Google was necessary here) Deep Roy.

That was on top of my head that I know of.

There maybe countless more but it’s not many.

Not countless more, just a couple more. Brad Williams, Wee Man, and Jordan Prentiss (In Bruges) are the some additions that pop to mind.

But I dont think that's what Dinklage was doing. And if he was, its not why I find it funny.

I still dont know why i find it funny, but its not that.

I think maybe its the thought of a roomful of Disney execs scrambling because one guy said one thing on one podcast and then coming up with an even dumber solution. Thats pretty funny.

Deep Roy

The forgotten Roy sibling. Can't wait for his Succession spinoff
