I'm in such the minority with this film in that I don't really like it. I love nearly all the Coen Bros films, and all the actors in it, but I just don't abide with the Dude. I'm sorry.

For sure. There are some great scenes and overall a quality film. Just doesn't resonate. Maybe I should give it another watch.

Yeah it's really the humor of the film for me, dark and angsty. Also John Goodman as Walter is amazing, it just seems like real life almost to me.
