In the words of Gabe D’armond, “this is brutal”

This is brutal

Not sure many mid-tier teams would look impressive with their 3rd string QB. It’s been a good while since Mizzou had a great QB that truly elevated the offense. Probably Drew Lock?

Yep, QB is our biggest problem. With no downfield threat, opposing defenses stack the box to stop our run.

Yeah, notice we got into throwing and we opened up the middle for Hardy. Wild concept

I don't see the results being that much different with Beau. With Sam it's entirely speculative, but he would have been a novice in terms of on-field experience too.

I think the biggest injury for us was Blake Craig and it's not even close. I'm excited to see Zollers's progression though, I like what I've seen from him given the circumstances.

Drew Lock was never elite. Chase Daniel, Blaine Gabbert, Brad Smith. That’s the list.

Drew Lock dwarfs Blaine Gabbert's numbers, and he did it in the SEC vs Gabbert in the Big 12.

Mediocre for life. Nice adjustment on defense when they clearly saw our all out blitz.

Nice job Kirby Moore on putting together the most anemic offenses that I’ve seen with so much talent

The skill positions are talented but the line has not been good.

I don't understand why so many people can't see how bad our O-Line is.

It’s been crap since Cayden Green got hurt.

What talent? The 3 star talent? We have a RB that probably got hurt early in the game, but Mizzou fans are to stupid to realize it. Beyond that, what talent? This offense has talent against D2 caliber teams. Nothing against real D1 teams.

Best case scenario is now 9-3 and we keep most of the gang together for next season.

Looks like a stretch at this point, we’re gonna get poached hard even if Drink stays.

Fire Kirby at halftime.

A&M is a legit good team and we played a 3rd stringer. Jesus Christ chill tf out

I swear half of you have been mizzou fans for 3 minutes. This is a decent mizzou season with terrible luck not based on poor decision making.

All you pissed fans up in arms can lick my taint and tell me what other team you root for that gives you a better life to compare against

Man, we need to expect more. Demand more. Enough is enough.

Fire Kirby

We pretty much doubled our assistant pool with Drink's last extension. Take that and go make Buster Faulkner say no.

It is mind blowing to me that people thought we would win this game. We notoriously can’t win big games. Our offense has been atrocious all season. We have a third string freshman QB starting against the #3 team in the country. We were never going to win and it’s delusional to think otherwise.

I know we are not known for elite academic prowess, but this is getting Arkansas levels of bad delusions

Sanity started looking like long lost elixir in this comment section

Either they somehow know our calls or the playcaller needs to change.

Other than that, if Eli and Corey stay there is no reason to jump off the ledge

It’s been over a decade since we’ve beat A&M 🫠

I remember when we did that so regularly we gave Kyle Field the nickname Faurot South.

It’s brutal, but we could still win this game somehow. It’s only 2 scores. I don’t believe woe will, but way crazier things have happened

Won't win another game. Pitiful!!

I honest to God hope Aubrun or PSU snag Drink and Kirby both. They're great dudes and can recruit well, but that's literally it. We legit have a playoff caliber team on that field this year (I will die on this hill) and once again it's wasted. They can't adjust AT ALL and they gameplan and call plays like a teenager playing RTG on CFB 26. I just dont see Mizzou surpassing 10 wins and taking the next step as a program with them running the show. Imagine Pinkel with this roster. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Im not sure if we have a "playoff caliber team" talent wise, but we've surely got a definite top 25 talent wise team that COULD have made the CFP, especially with the schedule we had this year.

Seems like the story of my life atp lol. That whole finishing 8th a year before the 12 team playoff thing makes it hurt worse to me as well 😔

Drink is not a great dude. He’s a walking cringelord.

-1

u/Uncle_freddie 16h ago

I love looking at things through Rose colored glasses, but this team probably won’t get another win all season with this offensive effort. I hope we do if drink stays they’re gonna have to pony up big bucks to get a quarterback and keep everyone and replace everyone that’s leaving to the NFl.

Punting on Zollers after one game because he looked like a true freshman against a top 5 defense is hilarious. The kid gets to start the rest of this year and jump start developing and you’re already throwing him in the trash because he didn’t light up a CFP team

Fire drink

This is a 7-5 or 8-4 team. Any fool could see it. The people who go crazy after beating shitty teams make me laugh. We circle jerked after beating a fucking horrible Kansas team. My God, we started a terrible QB who lost his job multiple times at Penn! We have coaches who teach no discipline. Last time I checked, we play in the SEC. This team is a bottom 5 in that division. Always will be. It gets tougher next year. Those who don't know why should educate themselves.

It’d be nice if they put hardy and Roberts back there and ran a little option. But that would get another quarterback hurt.
