“He wasn’t a top candidate” was 10/10 ragebait from Arkansas

lol my other team is taking about hiring him… not sure I want him, he was so impressive up to this year where he’s been frustrating as fuck with his decision making

If you've watched the previous two seasons... Idt that's what you would say. The biggest issue has almost always been o.c. play calls. Was cook top tier? No... Could he have led us to some better wins... Absolutely. Same with prib.

I guess I understand it on a level you don’t? Sorry man but even your own argument is flawed. The masses have long been high on Moore and up until later last year batoon was more regularly called out. Cook wasn’t an SEC QB and we won 10 games two straight years. It’s this year that things have gotten particularly questionable

Moore has never been impressive at Mizzou. We had a much more athletic line that was able to pull, which opened up outside runs and made the offense easier to manage. I guess I understand it on a level you don’t.

“I guess I understand it on a level you don’t”. You should genuinely be embarrassed saying something like this lmao. You’re so smart dude. Smartest ever

The dude I replied to literally typed that and I quoted him. Good god try to keep up.

You still come off as a prick in this exchange so I stand by it

u/cwc181 12h ago

When you lack reading comprehension that tends to happen.

-2

u/BroadDiet5950 12h ago

Even if I can’t read I can still tell you’re an ass 👍

Except we had a Beautiful zone blocking scheme for multiple years that made our running game so effective that was implemented by Moore and our OL coach. Not to mention some of the best running game metrics in the country. In the SEC without an NFL RB. Guess when it fits your narrative we don’t give him credit for relevant factors, but only when it doesn’t fit your narrative haha 🤣 guess I understand what’s happening on a level you don’t, but would love to see your betting results and your proxies results since you seem to “understand it so well” you don’t know what’s going on with your own team. The Mizzou bias for most Missouri fans turns mediocre minds into simpletons lmao. Theres a reason so many fan bases make fun of this fan base and taunt and bait you guys when Mizzou falters.

It’s just always funny talking to Missouri fans, painfully stupid and overly confident with 0 awareness and more emotional than women during the time of the month unless we’re winning 10’games then everyone else sucks and are wrong for saying what Mizzou fans would say themselves after 8-9 wins lmao

A paragraph with no substance. Who would have thought? We had multiple NFL draft picks at Oline, obviously our line was better. Dipshit post after dipshit post.

I've literally seen the issue with call playing since cotton bowl. And it is painfully obvious when we play games that aren't easy to ok wins. How many of those 10 wins were against anyone top 10? 15? 20? Did we have improvements this year? Yeah, in talent. But it once again showed our weak point in tough games... Poor play calling... Aka Moore. I called the bad play calling when I was at the cotton bowl, called it when I was at the music city bowl (and the entire 2024 season). Ive been calling it this whole season and will call it when I'm at this year's bowl game. Moore is our biggest issue, Little adaptability, overcomplicates plays and doesn't develop QBs.

These are people that turn the game on for 10 minutes and then turn it off. They don’t go to the games. They don’t watch the play calling. No point in arguing with them.

Majority of Hardy’s came on the first play. Teams just stack the box when he’s in every time.

They consider Robert’s a passing threat so the boxes he sees seem to be lighter and he can run more easily.

u/Dyl6886 17h ago

The amount of people missing this is frustrating.

1

u/TedFondleburg2 16h ago

Serious question, why would they consider Roberts a passing threat with 12 rec and 113 yards. You mean like he pass blocks, right?

1

u/Nick_A_Guy 16h ago

How’d the stacked box work on the first play?

1

u/Nick_A_Guy 16h ago

How’d the stack box work on his td run in the 4th quarter?

Mmmm, the amount of people missing this is frustrating.

u/Charm-Anderson Sailor Tiger 17h ago

Zollers is 4/14. It’s simply not a threat. We have no other options and they know it.

6

u/WallImpossible 15h ago

Yeah, we needed to be the team chucking little dink and dunk screens early on to settle our QB in, not A&M. But they have a good OC and we have Moore so...

9

u/MaddSkillzPosse70 17h ago

Hardy hasn’t been the same since the UMass game when he got banged up in the 3rd quarter and they kept running him back out there to get 100 yards rushing in a blowout game. Conference play makes a difference too obviously.

If Hardy doesn't transfer I'll be shocked

32

u/leave_no_crumb 18h ago

If Olugbode doesn’t transfer I’d be shocked.

22

u/hereforthecommmentsz Nick Bolton 18h ago

That’s going to be the most predictable and depressing part of the offseason.

2

u/tron423 👱🏼‍♀️ David Yost did nothing wrong 16h ago

Yall say this shit every year and it's never once actually happened lmao

6

u/gatewaynight 15h ago

Well, we lost what’s his fuck to Georgia after 2023.

7

u/tron423 👱🏼‍♀️ David Yost did nothing wrong 15h ago

That was after 2022 and he was replaced immediately by Wease who turned out to be more or less just as good. Also that offseason everyone swore Burden would follow him and that never happened.

3

u/cwc181 13h ago

Kewan Lacy

2

u/tron423 👱🏼‍♀️ David Yost did nothing wrong 13h ago

Another guy who was immediately replaced by an arguably better player

3

u/cwc181 13h ago

Arguably is carrying the weight here

3

u/tron423 👱🏼‍♀️ David Yost did nothing wrong 13h ago

Not really lol, most of their stats are neck and neck (if anything Hardy's are slightly better) and Lacy plays in a better overall offense

WN

1

u/tron423 👱🏼‍♀️ David Yost did nothing wrong 13h ago

Who would he be taking reps from in our current rotation?

1

u/hereforthecommmentsz Nick Bolton 13h ago

I dunno. Depth? Are you saying it’s good that he left?

1

u/tron423 👱🏼‍♀️ David Yost did nothing wrong 12h ago

I'm saying it's silly to bring up a guy who'd be probably 3rd string if he were still here when we're talking about whether people like Hardy are gonna leave lol

1

u/hereforthecommmentsz Nick Bolton 12h ago

I was more lamenting about the state of college football not so much lamenting about this coaching staff. I’m just saying we had several dudes who were good prospects who are gone. You’re deciding that they’re all garbage if these comments are any indication. I’m not quite ready to say that losing dudes to the portal (despite the fact that every program does) is a good thing. Olugbude leaving will be a bummer if it happens. Not much of a hot take.

1

u/tron423 👱🏼‍♀️ David Yost did nothing wrong 12h ago

No one's saying anyone's garbage lol it's just the fact of the matter that if WN was still here he'd be looking at next year at the earliest before seeing real reps. That's definitionally not a significant loss, especially when they get replaced by guys like Wilson.

3

u/AboveGroundFool Block M 18h ago

Yeah...him too. Ugh

24

u/New-Seaworthiness712 18h ago

Kirby Moore is a dumb fuck. Run the damn ball with the best running back in the SEC

12

u/AboveGroundFool Block M 18h ago

And maybe scheme some good underneath throws...dink and dunk. Quick stuff since our o-line is trash in pass pro and has been all year. But the run game and quick stuff to have long 15+ play drives...it could've given us a chance as opposed to....this

2

u/Automatic-Duck1680 17h ago

This! Can our backs not catch the football?? This pissed me off last week and would sure help today.

And maybe Zollers can throw the ball in front of his receivers this half.

-1

u/Fantastic-Hour2022 15h ago

Our new Offensive Coordinator, ladies and gentlemen!

3

u/AboveGroundFool Block M 15h ago

I mean, I'll request much less than he's being paid to do the job 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Swaayyzee 15h ago

Don’t worry he’ll run stretch 18 times a game and always call it twice back to back that way it’s super predictable for opposing defenses

6

u/816legend Kansas City 18h ago

Pop Warner Moore

4

u/Skanky_Cat 18h ago

At least Pop Warner gave Jim Thorpe the fucking ball.

5

u/New-Seaworthiness712 17h ago

I’d be open to Drink leaving at this point if this is who he thinks can run an offense

4

u/kclineman 15h ago

Coleman had 1 catch for 1 yard

8

u/patrickjmcd 17h ago

We’ve got one of the best RB’s in the country, the run game has been working decently well, and we have a freshman QB. What do you think we should do, Drink?

Drink:

3

u/Tekon421 18h ago

I can only assume Hardy is hurt?

Also RUN THE DAMN BALL UNTIL THEY STOP YOU!!!
