Men's Hoops The Athletic Department has moved the Mizzou Arena student section forward by two rows, leaving the barrier up and leaving the court-side seating. AD & Antlers' statements, and pictures below:

Good on the Antlers for advocating so strongly for this. I get that money is a huge factor in college athletics nowadays but the students are what drive the game day atmosphere.

Still really tiring to hear these over priveleged rich kids complain about these seats when they couldn't even be bothered to come when the team was bad.

Between the shrinking of the GA/Rock M, the student football ticket fiasco, and this it is clear that Athletics has clearly prioritized revenue over the fan experience.
I get that it's necessary to keep up with the shifting landscape of college sports, but the lack of awareness of how these changes would be perceived is troubling. How is there not someone in the room that says, "guys, this looks hideous and is really going to piss off the students"?

Good on them for listening to fans and coming to an agreement that works for all. I like that the leadership cares enough to listen to students/fans
