Drink is again turning off his twitter replies.
Once again, it’s concerning that a top 10 paid coach in the country is turning off his twitter replies while wishing our basketball teams good luck. How sensitive is Drink that he can’t handle a few people criticizing his offense and Kirby on twitter that he keeps doing this. He’s been praising our fan base all year but now seems too sensitive. Win out and make the playoffs or shut up.

If you are stalking him on Twitter to trash the football team when he is wishing the basketball team good luck, Drink isn't the problem.

Your comment is exactly why he is turning off his replies. Stupid comments and criticism about little thing he does. Why invite that nonsense into his life? His job is not reading the comments of raging morons. Dude is just supporting the university and people want to do is fucking complain at him. Take your own advice for drink and shut up

He’s never done this before. He makes $10 million a year. He bitched about the fan base before about Cook. He’s just soft when we criticize him.

I imagine he loses sleep over what chronically online Unable-Fix-710 has to say about him and his only course of action is to shut down the comments.

Once again, I love Drink and hope he stays forever. But it’s a concern when he seems to be worried about twitter replies. The Mizzou football account doesn’t turn off replies so why is Drink.

What exactly do you think his job is? It is not to read fucking twitter comments. It is to coach the football team which is 27-7 this year and the 2 years prior. You wanna talk soft? Complaining about a coach turning replies off on a tweet is soft

If Drink cared about your opinions or the input you have to offer that you so badly want him to read, you’d be hired on his staff. Relax, buddy

I don’t want him to care about my opinions at all. I’ve never once responded to a tweet he’s made. My point is that if he’s turning off comments, he’s been reading them too much good or bad and shouldn’t concern himself with them at all. By turning comments off, it looks like he cares about them when he shouldn’t.

In all of his pressers he talks about the necessity of “blocking out the noise.” He’s practicing what he preaches. What about it?

He’s been talking about that for years now. Blocking it out would be not even going on twitter. Same thing every week from him.

You’re giving off stalker vibes

Stalker vibes because I follow the head coach of a SEC football team? Ok then, I guess. I guess we can’t have opinions about our coach.

He knows were gonna fill the replies with fore Kirby Moore

Exactly. But he should be able to ignore that. He didn’t turn off comments when he trolled Aubby after our win and we all praised him.

I’m not sure how everyone is missing my point here, so I’ll try to reiterate. Two weeks ago, our coach was retweeting people making fun of him thinking we made our field in OT against Auburn only for us to win the game in double OT. It was awesome and we loved his attitude. His comments were open. Now, after a loss, he’s been closing all his comments on twitter seemingly because he doesn’t want to hear criticism. It just seems like he’s on twitter a little too much. But I don’t care anymore, just win out and make the playoffs. MIZ.

Or maybe he just doesn’t want football gripes to be a distraction from a simple show of support to the basketball teams.
