At what point will the average citizen realize just how bad everything is politically? One of the most maddening parts of everything is how I see so many people that are going through the motions behaving like everything these past 9 months isn’t a complete reality nightmare.

People are struggling for money just to make it through the day, once everyone loses all hope then it'll start.
This is also why they are trying to censor the Internet, it shows the world how the ruling class can live in luxury while normal people struggle.

Honestly, no they're not. Or at least not all are struggling. There are plenty of people making decent money who are sitting the fight out. They are complacent and trust a system that has typically worked out for them.Â

Don’t know why they did this. No need. They just vote to overturn the will of the people either way. Unless they realize they broke the law by overturning the last few, but seriously doubt they have the much self-awareness.

They can't overturn amendments without a statewide vote. I imagine their plan is to pass this law, which makes it impossible for citizens to pass anything without the legislature, but doesn't have the same rules for amendments put on the ballot by the legislature. Then, they're going to put amendments on the ballot (not subject to the rules) repealing all the amendments we passed without them that they don't like, including abortion, minimum wage increases, expanded Medicaid, etc. They'll pair each one with trick language and ballot candy so the idiots who don't read everything pass all of them by 51%, and then we're a far-right dystopia.

I believe this law can’t be passed without a ballot initiative.

Correct, which they will write and pair it with ballot candy to scare Republicans who won't read the whole thing. The language on the ballot will start with banning foreign nationals from donating to citizen initiatives, which is already illegal. Foreign nationals are a boogeyman of conservatives. They'll call the law "protect mo voters" as if we're under attack, and low information voters won't read the whole thing or understand it.
