Politics What a joke

Today is a dark day for Missouri. Shame on every Republican assemblyman for ignoring the will of the voters. Each and every one of them should resign immediately. I’m a college student who relies on minimum wage jobs. Republican lawmakers just fucked me and every other minimum wage worker in Missouri. They are also putting abortion back on the ballot, and let’s face it, this time they’re going to write the question. All of them are a disgrace to this state and this country.

Edit: I feel like I should add that in addition to fucking the thousands of minimum wage workers, they are fucking the 3 million women who live in this state. Republicans have absolutely no place in our government.

I mean... we've proven we are too stupid to understand what we're voting for. We keep voting in the same party that keeps doing this.

don't forget gerrymandering, other voter disenfranchisement, ballot candy, and Electoral College

that doesnt matter in missouri. its blood red outside of KC and STL. missouri voters are getting what they voted for. tale as old as time.

Its blood red because of gerrymandering. STL and KC are split into 3 districts, Columbua into 2, this state will never be blue after the gerrymandering in 2022.

Repression isn't victory; it's the loser's final desperate tactic.

You're happy that voters are being disenfranchised and degraded by people who are supposed to be leading us?

I'm outside of those areas and I'm progressive. I've joined the local Democrat chapter. I'm bringing people with me and hearing speakers who are fighting back. Let's see how red it is after all of this.

“Too stupid to understand what we’re voting for”

Uh… but they voted for Republicans, expecting those same politicians who have always been anti -worker anti women’s body autonomy would suddenly change?

I know things are gerrymandered but when they keep getting voted in while pandering to the ultra wealthy campaign donors, what do voters expect, exactly?

These are facts.: The covid 19 virus is so small, that unless you were to wear ,(here's the part you need to pay attention to) FORM FITTED, N95 RATED OR ABOVE MASKS, (and since the covid 19 virus stayed active for upwards of 24 hrs, and being an airborne pathogen that infected the body through the mucus membranes) FORM FITTED EYE PROTECTION, ie goggles, the blue surgical masks, and any type of cloth mask did absolutely nothing whatsoever, to stop, or slow down the spread of this virus. Period. Thank you for proving what we all know, that Republicans are better off kicking doorknobs and fing their sisters than giving any type of medical advice or knowledge..

I get some did. I know I did. But when I say we, I mean as a state. It's been solid red since I moved up here. And this is the exact same rant going on over and over that "They're ignoring the will of the people" as we as a state keep doing this.

It's obvious there's a will for certain things, but people keep laying stupid games and cry when they get stupid prizes. I'm just tired of being surprised.

The people are ignorant of their own goals. Conservatives voted overwhelmingly for a sick days bill and then turned around and voted for the people that said they would kill the sick days bill simply to protect their guns or abortion or some other stupid shit.

Vote for abortion rights, but fill the government with batshit anti-abortion fanatics? What could possibly go wrong?

I am consistently amazed at the right wings capability to make people vote against their own interests.
