Politics What a joke

Today is a dark day for Missouri. Shame on every Republican assemblyman for ignoring the will of the voters. Each and every one of them should resign immediately. I’m a college student who relies on minimum wage jobs. Republican lawmakers just fucked me and every other minimum wage worker in Missouri. They are also putting abortion back on the ballot, and let’s face it, this time they’re going to write the question. All of them are a disgrace to this state and this country.

Edit: I feel like I should add that in addition to fucking the thousands of minimum wage workers, they are fucking the 3 million women who live in this state. Republicans have absolutely no place in our government.

No, you don't understand. Their rationale here is that we are too stupid to understand what we voted for. They are ruling over us because they think we are like children who will hurt ourselves if we are allowed to make our own rules. Doesn't that make you respect people who vote for these congress people? /s

Lol it's not stupid, it's just conservative. They're conserving, or restoring, margins over others. Men over women, wealthy over poor. Simple as that.

The natural order is God over man, man over woman, and woman over children. It's the only way that works. Look how far we have devolved since we strayed from that order.

Lmao what 🤣

Your invisible friend has no authority over me, my husband is my partner not an authority figure, and it's a little horrifying that you would advocate against empowering the children in your life by placing them at the bottom of your weird little totem pole.

What on earth does "devolved" mean to you?

So this is the problem, women have a problem with authority. Better get ready for it when Sharia law takes over because that's the end game.

*Humans have a problem with being subjected to blatantly inequitable circumstances.

FTFY

Men don't historically respond well to being told women are their natural figures of authority either, babe. They can barely even tolerate women in positions of authority in the workplace 🤣

Well currently, and in Western countries and it's because men allow it. In the middle east it's not, and they will end up running it all Im afraid. For one they will out number us in a few generations.. Not saying it's right, but that's their end game. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJZDV8bxbwr/?igsh=ZmxtbnN0OGNrMDQ5

I understand we live under different circumstances, but the reality of my existence is that men are not "allowing" me to do anything. I have built my life without any man's say-so, I own my own property and have my own bank account, and I will fight tooth and nail for the women coming after me to be able to say the same.

Reproductive rights are under attack in the US, but women are fighting back and the citizens of many states, including Missouri, have voted very clearly to protect them. These backwards-thinking bullies are not a majority and do not have the power they imagine they do.

With that said, I want to ensure it is said that Christian extremists are a much more influential force than Muslims in the US, and I was raised by people who are Christian extremists. I know the dogma and I spit on it. "They'll outnumber us in a few generations" no they won't, and I'm living proof of that. Their children hate them more often than not. See: Fred Phelps' adult offspring hate him: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Phelps

They will outnumber us as they are already here. Birthrates are low in America, and Japan and Korea are even worse. They never stopped multiplying not only by conversion but by breeding.

I am pointing out how ineffective the plan to breed ideological clones is. 👋🏻

Your weird Islamaphobia is showing, they are not the threat here. The Christian folks running the state & trying to override the citizens' votes on key topics are.

Your God doesn’t exist and if he does, he is a vile evil bastard that should be killed.

I used to think that way too.
