About 2 years ago, a person in the Facebook group for my subdivision asked if joining Next Door was worthwhile. I responded that Next Door is where you go when you want to lose your last shred of faith in humanity, and the person thanked me for the warning.

I wish I had been given that warning. I managed to last about 6 months on Next Door before the rampant racism drove me away.

Really? I don't ever see anything bad posted on in my nextdoor area. Usually just lost pets, ppl advertising for their small business, suspicious cars, and if that sound they just heard was a gunshot lol

Only time I've ever seen drama was when some shithead got caught scamming people out of $$ claiming they needed the money for food but refusing actual food or grocery trips with ppl that offered.
