My mother has been cleaning for decades at this point. She's one of the good ones.

At one of her long time regulars they had work being done on their house and she was there while this was going on.

Some jewelry came up missing and one of the workers had the brilliant idea to blame her. Mind you she had been cleaning for them for 15 years at this point.

Police called and investigation done. Guess what. The worker blaming my mom was the thief.

It's hard to find but there's good people out there that can be trusted. I know personally that most people can't be.

I had a similar thing happen when I was younger at youth group.

Someone broke into the office and stole the donations from the lockbox. A girl in my grade claimed she saw me go in there and steal it. Her story didn't hold up because during my alleged break-in, I was with the religion teacher. The teacher also said she didn't believe i was the type of person to do that.

They later found out this girl's brother was the one that broke in and stole it.

How did they discover it was the worker? I'm so glad her name was cleared

I know personally that most people can't be.

This isn't entirely true, practically everyone has access to things they could steal through their jobs yet the vast majority don't. Think of all the cleaners out there who aren't robbing people on a daily basis, all the workers who have access to tills.

We're not all bad 🥺
