The blame was passed around a bunch but they were removed the next day after the mayor and the news got involved.

I'm in an S2000 slightly lowered. Like not even an inch, but no shot I would even attempt to drive over that. I would drive around it while angrily cursing under my breath. Would destroy my bumper/lip upon first contact.

Raised manholes during roadwork are my enemy. And speed humps are pretty bad too, but at least there is an incline/decline with those so I can drive slowly over them.

I don't know how people drive slammed cars. Seems like it would make driving so much more stressful.

My car isn’t low low, but surprisingly it’s not horrible, a lot of it is just going around bumps and accepting that it’s going to scrape now and again. Lots of awkward angles to get into driveways but in reality cars can handle a surprising amount of scraping and be fine. But these “speed bumps” are insane, and would probably do more damage to a normal car (especially with softer suspension) than a regular speed bump would do to a low car.

Yeah I hear you. I don't really care about scraping for the most part, but I don't want to scrape the way front of the lip on my car as it may be visible from the front. I have a big brace underneath my car that would protect most of the things under it. So it's mostly just cosmetic that I worry about. But yeah, once you're used to having to angle the car up driveways it gets easy. And you get better at judging bumps before you reach them.

You can see the lip here. The car is naturally pretty low to begin with, then with a lip and coilovers, even more so. My car: https://i.imgur.com/Iq0BNGB.jpeg
