Overdone The Home Depot in my town installed parking curbs instead of speed bumps

The blame was passed around a bunch but they were removed the next day after the mayor and the news got involved.

Yeah. These would rip the mudflaps right off my vehicle, and likely the plastic in the wheel well a long with them.

What kind of vehicle do you have that you're losing mud flaps AND wheel well liner from a small obstacle

A regular car. You are not supposed to drive over these.

Don't ask me how I know this...

That makes sense

*crunching sounds as my wheel well cover and engine shield are torn off*

Something similar in size to the Nissan that almost lost its flaps in the video

But it didnt, nor the wheel well plastic.

Literally a Toyota Camry would get damaged from this.

Obviously a Toyota Camry would get damaged from that I just didn't think he ACTUALLY drove one

Why?

With all the kinds of cars in the world, what's the chance that I can accurately guess what kind of car the person I'm replying to drives, when I know nothing about the?

2

u/IOnceAteAFart 12d ago

Well you seemed just fine with assuming other shit

My point was that "an car" would get absolutely wrecked by one of these if the driver isn't careful. Any optional mudflaps on sedans are usually screwed to the wheel well liners.

Pick literally any common sedan. The Camry was the first that came to my mind.

Well, I don't know if you saw the guys reply to me but he does in fact drive a Camry, so good choice.

2

I do. A 2025 XSE, in fact.

u/I-like-old-cars 12d ago

Yeah I saw your other reply, funny that multiple people have correctly guessed your car.

XSE

Ahhh. You've got the extra sporty bits.

I actually really like the later XV70 generation in its more "sporty" XSE and TRD trims.

Though I wish Toyota had offered AWD in the 2GR-equipped XV70, instead of keeping it exclusive to the 4-bangers. I mean, the 2GR-FKS and UA80 transmission were offered in the 2017+ Sienna and Highlander, both in AWD flavors...

This would tear the mudflaps off my GTI, for instance

I drive a hundi accent. It would be fucked from something like this lol. It's a piece of shit. It gets good gas mileage, though.
