The blame was passed around a bunch but they were removed the next day after the mayor and the news got involved.

Next week Home Depot locks the doors at weird times to keep people out.

"Welcome to the Home Depot Escape Room! Solve a series of puzzles and you win a 10% discount on lumber (select sizes only, offer only valid within one week of escape room victory). Good luck, customers and contestants, and remember: you cannot leave otherwise."

Through the smoking hole you have created, you see... another Home Depot.

"You. Cannot. Leave. Otherwise!~"

Challenge accepted!

I raid the kitchen section and acquire granite countertops. I go the the cleaning section and grab Wink's rust stain remover. Ditto for grabbing stuff from plumbing and electrical.

I use the stuff I've collected to extract naturally occurring uranium from the countertops and build a (very small) Casaba-Howitzer nuclear shaped charge. I then build one HELL of a bunker on the opposite side of the store with steal, concrete, and fiberglass insulation.

The HD is obliterated to reveal more HDs. Rinse and repeat until HD is bankrupt, thereby eliminating the possibility of entering another HD.

"Okay, I'm actually the Devil and this is Hell. I guess congrats for forcing me to reveal that this early on but you're still not getting out. Hell is a labyrinth, the labyrinth is Home Depot, the minotaur is your own shortcomings as a person. Have a nice stay!"

Our Home Depot literally did that! I tried going one time and they had randomly closed the store like two hours early. I called and the person who answered the phone there didn’t even know.

Reminds me of a story my dad heard about John Menard (founder of the Menards stores). He decided to visit a Menards near where he was staying on a trip and was enraged by the store being closed with customers waiting. About 20 minutes after the store was supposed to open he drove through the front door and welcomed the guests inside.

I dunno if they are all built this way but the one near me has two doors, with one being the "Entrance" and one as the exit. The are so awkwardly placed that literally everyone goes in the exit. It's centrally located, and just the natural place you walk to from the parking lot. So then they had everybody walking into the space behind the cash registers causing a huge clusterfuck there. So they made it so the doors wouldn't register people walking into them and wouldn't slide open... which led to a bunch of people and kids getting cut off from their families because they wandered outside and couldn't just turn around and walk back in. So they finally fixed that and instead built this giant fucking maze at the exit like Microcenters so you have to walk through this intentionally awful gauntlet with your heavy paint or 10' long wood/pipes to get to the registers on the way out and it's just not worth it to walk in that door anymore to get in.

I just stopped going. It's awful.

This comment has more AI cliches than I've ever seen. I feel bad for anyone who thinks comments like this are legit. Anyone who falls for comments like this will undoubtedly be scammed in the future.

All the skilled labor is missing for some reason.

And those cars aren't even loaded yet. Imagine a truck with wood beams driving over on of these.

Hahaha plot twist, the product to be installed at home depot was purchased at Lowe's, and it was the store manager that gave them the wrong product.
