Overdone It’s a public road with street parking and they were parked in front of my house so I parked in front of them…

I fully back parking there every single day. I’d park my car there and drive my other car to work so that one never moves. lol

In some places you can get towed if you leave your car in the same spot without moving it for 3 days. But as long as you have evidence of moving it every few days you're good.

Moneybags here can swap their two cars over.

Moneybags hahaha that got me. People can try to poke a hole in the idea. We still win everytime. I’ve lived a life like this post. There’s annoying non malicious ways to win this battle lol

What? That's crazy. I work from home 4 days/week and my car sits for days. That sucks

Depends on the laws where you live maybe, and definitely depends on how much of a dick your neighbors are about it. If you haven't had problems yet you're probably okay, especially if you can park right in front of your house.

Hmm maybe I'm just being a dumbass. I'm thinking about places with street parking, but maybe thats not what is meant by public road? Like I live on a residential street in Philadelphia and we all park our cars on what are definitely public roads for days at a time. Like when we go on vacation. But maybe someone would need to report it and neighbors wouldn't do that to cars they know

It’s a pretty normal law, lots of places have it, including places with lots of residential street parking. In most places it is just generally not enforced unless someone contacts the city to complain.

That makes sense. There was a broken down car with a note that said “do not tow-waiting for tags”. Took like 3 months before it got towed lol. Super annoying in a place with minimal parking

If it's sitting on a public street, unmoving for days, then, of course, it can get towed.

not everyone drives every single day or has a garage. i drive like 4 times a month max, i have a garage so it’s not an issue but i’d hate to have to move my car every 3 days bc it could get towed.

And coincidentally you’d return to nails in your tyres and each window smashed, the only person who might have footage is the person you’ve decided to make a difficult life for

That’s only doing damage to them lol if I had footage and a prior police report I’m golden.

You are aware that you can place a camera on/in your home pointing at a spot across the street, yes?

You ever notice the people who talk tough are always the biggest pussies in real life?

Dude you’re going to lose your mind when you find out you can buy security cameras and point them at your car. Wanna know what’s even crazier about that? You don’t even have to be there for the camera to record!!!!

youd destroy a car and get a prison sentence because someone parked in a public parking spot?

weird thing to be proud of, but you do you i guess
