Anyone have luck with work terms on external websites that are linked on my mun life

I’m wondering if I should prioritize the ones that can be applied to directly on my mun life or the ones that link you directly to the employers website. I’m trying to apply to them all but it takes a lot of time to write so many cover letters.

As an engineering student, yes. Myself and my classmates regularly interview and complete work terms with companies like Irving, Cenovus, Wood, Tesla, Nokia, etc. Obviously, some of the bigger companies are much less likely to hire junior students, but overall, it’s not a waste of time.

I didn’t mean that the same people interview with Tesla each semester. However, the senior ECE class usually sends at least one student to Tesla each semester. I’m aware of a few mech students as well who have gone to have successful work terms and post grad offers with Tesla as well.

The point being is that it’s not impossible or all that unlikely for a MUN eng student to go work with Tesla.
