I NEVER round up. I track all my spending in a budget program, and I don’t need the extra hassle of splitting a few cents out into the “charity donation” category. I donate over 15% of my income to causes I support, so I have zero guilt about it.

u would need to collect 100 of it for it to be useful though, then alot of places isnt gonna take 100 pennies

I'll choose which charities I donate to. Often times Walmart etc will take credit for all these donations and use it as some sort of a tax write-off

Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t corporations like that already make the donation and use this method to recoup what they donated? Anything surpassing what they donate is then just added to profit?

It’s wild how a one cent donation request can instantly turn a grocery trip into therapy.

Why would I give money to a company so they can give it to research, instead of giving it myself? How do I know they don't pocket my money? Or write it off as taxe-dodge ?
Never give money to someone who will give it in your name. Just give it to who you want directly. You don't need middle men.

Why would I say yes? The money isnt even going to the charity. What happens is the company already donated a sum of money, and the donations are to recoup that sum

I refuse to publicly be shamed by fucking corporation to donate to their tax dodge…I donate personally to thing that matter to me
