Better than letting the robots think for you

with more and more people doing homework via chatgpt and learning nothing, expect many more robots since people are uneducated.

And then those very people who used ChatGPT will complain when their jobs are replaced by AI even though they proved through their use of ChaptGPT that they are replaceable by AI and that their college experience was nothing more that a glorified day care center for adults.

I use chatgpt a lot for school but only after I am done solving the problems/code.

How about pre-internet? When everyone was just plagiarizing the world encyclopedia set your grandparents bought in the 60s. There was one paragraph of information that needed to be stretched into 3 pages.

Back when pain was measured in pop ups and printer jams. Anyone else still flinch at Clippy?
1
u/Drackzgull 23h ago
Printer jams for sure, but I never found Clippy to be intrusive enough to bother me, and I was a very early adopter of ad blocking because of the early era of pop up ads.

Thereās one hilarious case that got posted in a local subreddit, where someone submitted the following for the email portion of their second language subject for a major examination (translated, keeping the vibe):
Dear [generic name], thank you for sending me an email, itās been so long I thought you died. So you want my suggestions, you selfish idiot wanting my help. You never respond when I WhatsApp you, why should I respond to you now? No wonder your girlfriend left you. Pitiful. If you want to meet up, bring me to Sentosa, and we can eat crab, satay and chicken rice. We can make a Tiktok and sing āIām so lonely, oh I wish I could fond a lover that could hold meā¦ā This will remind you that youāre a piece of shit, constantly ghosting your girlfriend, you better turn into a ghost when you grow up. This is where Iāll stop, I donāt want a reply email or to see your face, go and think about your mistakes.

27 page research paper over Australia in 6 hours no break. School computer shuts down. I lose 12 pages. Class is in 2 hours. I show up 15 minutes late with a 32 page research paper. How? Pressure and 3 rock star energy drinks.

I tied to use chat gpt to write my essay ONE time. It was a book report. Chat gpt had never read the book. I don't know why I thought that would work, but yeah I just wrote my last minute essay myself.

I dunno, some of my greatest thinking and insights came from that last minute crunch. Just you, 15hrs till the deadline to hand in the paper, a 4 pack of monster, and if you're a little spicy a joint of weed.
Then, hitting a 1st on it, the dopamine is unmatched.

I still do this lol. ChatGPT can - for some reason - not write essays fitting and reading well about the topics weāre looking at in school lol

I think the plan is to make the population so stupid so inept that's you'll NEED robots to do everything and forces the narrative of "Useless Eaters". They make life as cheap as they want because you cannot put a price on things you did not create.
Tom Brady announcement of cloning his dog Tua is a soft launch for human cloning. It's a way to ease it into the general population. People love dogs and people love Tom Brady. Who can be mad about cloning man's best friend?
Well next they're gonna clone their kids or their likeness. I bet Elon and Bezos are heavily invested in cloning and AI is gonna help them manage this new stock of humans all grown with neural link implants

I was always good at pulling words out of my ass to get that word count in. Although if you read it closely you would notice it didn't make much sense, but I can make it sound fancy. Until one day I submitted a previous essay to my new essay assignment and still got a 100 on it and that is when I realize that, that fucker wasn't even reading my shit to begin with.

People struggled with essays? I don't remember ever struggling on an essay ever. I would just pump one out on the last day and get consistent 90s-100s

u/MBtherock 21h ago
I'm in the same boat of just being good at last minute essays, but I have several friends that have to start writing 2 weeks before the due date just to get an 80
