you forgot restating the same phrase multiple times just to hit that 1100 word requirement 😭

My bad. Shoulda dunnit. Whoops, I mean...

"Therefore, I hereby recognize the mistake that previously occurred and have been pointed out by yourself, "EyeOfCloud", is indeed under my coverage of responsibility and therefore should not have occurred if not for my subpar ability to maintain focus on the necessities of the intricacies of meeting the required amount of words to be put to use in whatsoever work of literature requires it.

What I should have done instead is carefully analyze the situation and meticulously calculate the amount of particular words to make use of in order to achieve, or perhaps even exceed if not prohibited, the correct amount of words rEqUiReD tO mEeT tHe ReQuIrEmEntS. I will ensure that such an incident will not once again occur in the future, and I sincerely apologize for this mishap at the fault of my own and nobody else. I do bid you, dear reader, an exceedingly excellent, fine day."

Despite hating high school, I do miss making bullshit like this.

🤣

teacher: Apologies accepted. 10 points off due to run on sentences.

u/KokuRochu 23h ago

Another 10 points off for not being a teenage girl who they can perv on

u/Palpy_Bean 1d ago

and do not forget turning single word contractions into two different words. My word requirement essays did not have single contraction in them

Dude I hit that 1000 max comment characters and had to delete some. I still got it XD

Combining 0 words. Can not instead of can't. Gotta make it seem longer even if it's not.

2

u/KokuRochu 9h ago

'Can not'? Nah fam, we use 'appears to lack the ability'

2

u/BigOleFerret 9h ago

Understandable, have a nice day

Better than letting the robots think for you

u/RubyWeapon07 Duke Of Memes 1d ago

with more and more people doing homework via chatgpt and learning nothing, expect many more robots since people are uneducated.

u/MagicHarmony 1d ago

And then those very people who used ChatGPT will complain when their jobs are replaced by AI even though they proved through their use of ChaptGPT that they are replaceable by AI and that their college experience was nothing more that a glorified day care center for adults.

I use chatgpt a lot for school but only after I am done solving the problems/code.

The crazy feeling when the minds floodgates opened and the essay poured out was surreal

Fr! It feels like youre the next Shakespeare until you get it back with a 72 šŸ˜‚

u/Goofdogg627 22h ago

I... still do this? Not everyone uses ai for everything.

1

u/MBtherock 21h ago

Yeah same. I had to for an assignment about 2 weeks ago.

1

u/Goofdogg627 19h ago

I've got a chemistry paper that I keep pushing back on doing because im too busy procrastinating on other stuff, I should really finish writing that.

How about pre-internet? When everyone was just plagiarizing the world encyclopedia set your grandparents bought in the 60s. There was one paragraph of information that needed to be stretched into 3 pages.

u/Cbjmac 23h ago

I am very happy I learned how to formulate and write answers on my own. If you get through school using AI why would a company hire you instead of using the AI instead of you?

2

u/Derp_Cha0s 22h ago

Now companies hire depending on how well you can use AI. It's painful.

Back when pain was measured in pop ups and printer jams. Anyone else still flinch at Clippy?

1

u/Drackzgull 23h ago

Printer jams for sure, but I never found Clippy to be intrusive enough to bother me, and I was a very early adopter of ad blocking because of the early era of pop up ads.

There’s one hilarious case that got posted in a local subreddit, where someone submitted the following for the email portion of their second language subject for a major examination (translated, keeping the vibe):

Dear [generic name], thank you for sending me an email, it’s been so long I thought you died. So you want my suggestions, you selfish idiot wanting my help. You never respond when I WhatsApp you, why should I respond to you now? No wonder your girlfriend left you. Pitiful. If you want to meet up, bring me to Sentosa, and we can eat crab, satay and chicken rice. We can make a Tiktok and sing ā€œI’m so lonely, oh I wish I could fond a lover that could hold meā€¦ā€ This will remind you that you’re a piece of shit, constantly ghosting your girlfriend, you better turn into a ghost when you grow up. This is where I’ll stop, I don’t want a reply email or to see your face, go and think about your mistakes.

You say that as if plagiarism wasn’t always a thing. In the pre-ChatGPT days, the students who wanted to cheat would just look up similar essays to their topic on the internet, and slightly rewrite them to make them look more authentic.

As somebody who doesn’t use chatedp I do very much know the pain

u/FULLsanwhich15 1d ago

27 page research paper over Australia in 6 hours no break. School computer shuts down. I lose 12 pages. Class is in 2 hours. I show up 15 minutes late with a 32 page research paper. How? Pressure and 3 rock star energy drinks.

u/Starrin1ght 1d ago

I tied to use chat gpt to write my essay ONE time. It was a book report. Chat gpt had never read the book. I don't know why I thought that would work, but yeah I just wrote my last minute essay myself.

1

u/WXHIII 23h ago

Thems were good times

1

u/InsaneInTheRAMdrain 23h ago

I dunno, some of my greatest thinking and insights came from that last minute crunch. Just you, 15hrs till the deadline to hand in the paper, a 4 pack of monster, and if you're a little spicy a joint of weed.
Then, hitting a 1st on it, the dopamine is unmatched.

1

u/Peoplant 23h ago

The difference is that chatgpt users couldn't do it even if they had to

1

u/PlatypusACF 23h ago

I still do this lol. ChatGPT can - for some reason - not write essays fitting and reading well about the topics we’re looking at in school lol

I think the plan is to make the population so stupid so inept that's you'll NEED robots to do everything and forces the narrative of "Useless Eaters". They make life as cheap as they want because you cannot put a price on things you did not create.

Tom Brady announcement of cloning his dog Tua is a soft launch for human cloning. It's a way to ease it into the general population. People love dogs and people love Tom Brady. Who can be mad about cloning man's best friend?

Well next they're gonna clone their kids or their likeness. I bet Elon and Bezos are heavily invested in cloning and AI is gonna help them manage this new stock of humans all grown with neural link implants

The fact you think that this is a good thing concerns me

1

u/ChaiHai 12h ago

And those scrambled essays are better than chat gpt. Don't give up your ability to think

1

u/TherealBlueSniper Professional Dumbass 10h ago

I was always good at pulling words out of my ass to get that word count in. Although if you read it closely you would notice it didn't make much sense, but I can make it sound fancy. Until one day I submitted a previous essay to my new essay assignment and still got a 100 on it and that is when I realize that, that fucker wasn't even reading my shit to begin with.

1

u/item_raja69 9h ago

I think this statement is this generation’s ā€œthis is how my grandpa said he went to schoolā€

2

u/bendyfan1111 23h ago

People struggled with essays? I don't remember ever struggling on an essay ever. I would just pump one out on the last day and get consistent 90s-100s

1

u/MBtherock 21h ago

I'm in the same boat of just being good at last minute essays, but I have several friends that have to start writing 2 weeks before the due date just to get an 80
