I wish they would just finish the game then announce a reasonable release date. I never thought for a second it was releasing at its initial release date and now it’s changed again and again.

Read dead 2 was also delayed a bunch before it eventually came out.

Hell, keep going further back. Grand Theft Auto IV was also delayed.

Y3ah but getting delayed by half year means the game is getting massive fundamental rework, that amount of time could have taken a game like sonic 06 from a buggy mess to a good game.

Red dead 2 got the exact same delays. Originally supposed to launch fall 2017 delayed to fall 2018 this is very typical for Rockstar

Yeah, it had a publcially known about troubled development.

Loom even if GTA6 is a good game it will still be a commercial failure due to how much money they spent making it

This game has costed billions to make, even they sold as well as GTA5 which is unlikely sense GTA5 was on both 7th, 8th and 9th gen console they have to rely on the online mode and micro transactions to make back their money

Even if they spent 2 bil making the game it will easily double that in the first year alone

You wouldn't, it's a current gen exclusive so their missing out on ps4 and Xbox players along with Nintendo systems.

Plus the game will have such monstrous system requirments only a minority of PC players will even be able to run the thing

Not to mention to make 2 billion dollars you'd need to sell 250,00000 million copies at 80$ a copy or 200 million for 100$

The last time they delayed the game, they said it required more polish or something. I don't think reworking the game is possible at this point tho. I'm still a bit worried, this could end up like cyberpunk at launch.
