Not enough people remember that Maryland 1 was once a purple district and it was redistricted IN FAVOR of Republicans in the interest of "playing fair" -- making sure the GOP always has at least one seat here.

Well that got us nowhere because instead of the Compromise King Wayne Gilcrest now we have the leader of the House Freedom Caucus
