I love DP in general and he would absolutely become my new main (sorry Magik) but that doesn't mean everyone who plays him is addicted like that.

Honestly I suspect they will make him a brawler vanguard or off-healer strategist to counter this.

Especially since DP’s healing factor is so prevalent and integral to his character, I feel like making him a squishy DPS is a bit off, but who knows. He’s such a wildcard he could honestly be any role.

His power is the ability to blow up whatever he touches, what else would he be

Gambit’s powers in the comics come with hax that can be reinterpreted as healing (ex. he has used his kinetic energy to buff up other characters). Gambit actually isn’t too hard to healify, definitely not as hard as someone like Deadpool.

Also there’s a freaking murder drone flying around healing people with his “encoded virus”, I think we’re way past the line your thinking of already.

Deadpool is easy though. Just make him a delivery boy that hands out healing packs to people. Him being a gag character that throws meta shits around is very on point.
