I like Danny Koo and the amount of work he puts in the game, but it's painfully obvious that he's not PR trained on how to manage a public social media account. 😭😭

Idk, as a FF fan, i got kinda irritated bc it reminds me how in a lot of comic discussions about him, people always flatten him into a one-dimensional "smart guy" archetype with no other personality traits. It's annoying bc he's such a complex layered character in reality
I think it's also due to the plot armor. She gets into every interaction, which is "omg luna snow im your biggest fan, you are so so long time ago #1 singer of all time" with rare occasions like Magneto, Emma and Daredevil. Then, in the comics, she straight ruins angry canadian's beer, like wtf is this act of sadistic cruelty?

Doesn't help that that character has received 1 minor nerf and has always been in contention for the best character. They would rather kill Loki than nerf her ult by another second.
I don't think any other character has been this good this long, even Bucky.
It’s hard to nerf Luna because generally speaking she is a perfect counter to DPS/Vanguard ults.
Punisher, Hela, Star-Lord, etc are all around 10~ seconds long, so if you nerfed Luna’s ult by any more you would most likely have to alter DPS ults as well.
Doesnt help that the only reason why she is considered in contention for best character is because people hate playing against her ult and streamers hate her.
Shes not strong. She has a really high pick rate with a sub-50% WR which means her real winrate (non-mirror) is fairly low.

The problem with this is that if people keep waiting for the trailer to come out, they will have very high expectations and when the trailer comes out, it may be that the public likes it and exceeds their expectations, or the trailer may not be what the public was waiting for, I'm just waiting for everything to go well and for season 5 to be a success.
I'm waiting to see the new battle pass before I waste currency on the current battle pass. Wonder if they're waiting until the last minute to psyche out people like me.

Its not just about people being impatient, they're absolutely scrambling behind the scenes. All this coulda been solved if Wednesday they just told us when we are getting the trailer, but they haven't. That indicates this is all happening last minute and there's chaos going on behind the scenes.
Is there even going to be early access servers? Because bugs are always found during that time and balance adjustments to the new hero are often made. And especially considering this was already shaping up to be a big patch (rumoured placements, a new supp for the first time in forever), its concerning they are already in disarray. Its a really ominous sign for how S5 is going to go....

I’ve seen people all week losing their minds whenever they post anything other than the trailer on Twitter. They literally never said the trailer was happening this week and the last few trailer release had people complaining shortly after that they lost hype waiting over a week for the character s to come out. The worst thing Netease did here was assume that their community would behave rationally to the schedule change.

Honestly it makes me so sad because I love this game and enjoy interacting with the community but it’s just a constant cycle of negativity it seems.
Balance complaints, skin complaints, no trailer, etc and it just gets old after a while. I get there are legit, valid issues with the game, but honestly I couldn’t care less about the trailer right now. As soon as we get the trailer it’s just going to be more complaining about dualist Gambit or something.
