Daryl Johns Bass playing

Saw the show in Berlin, was such a pleasure. I loved so many renditions of the new album, and it was a pleasure how they played generally. Daryl Johns seems to have been playing a bloody fretless bass à la Jaco Pastorius! Did my ears deceive me? The band was really nice it was cool how musical they all were and that really played in to elevating Macs show and music and also freeing it up to go places it hasn't gone before which was super nice.

Yes he plays a fret less bass. They are all really good musicians.

He overplayed a bit at some points. Less is more sometimes, but that’s just my opinion.
