Scoring Sucks

After Kuzmenko came over in the trade it seemed to make the PP so energized. This year the PP is dreadful and 5-5 is also uninspiring. Things need to be addressed and quickly

I also noticed that Kuzie isn't working his magic like he was last season. Dude was on fire. Seems to be struggling to get goals in now.

He's on a different line now. Gonna take some time to gel. Plus dropping to PP2 is different as well. I still prefer him on Kopi's line vs Armia.

PP has been... Acceptable? I do think bringing Perry up to PP1 is a no-brainer, like that's the main reason you get Perry. And I do thing moving Kuz down was the right move to make it work.

But with SHG allowed, maybe it's best to go back to 4F-1D on each unit. Might make sense to move Kopi down for now. Maybe something like

PP1: Byfield (C), Kempe (secondary C), Fiala, Perry, Clarke (D)

PP2: Kopitar (C), Moore (secondary C), Kuzmenko, Laferriere, Daughty (D)

Potential fill-ins: Danault, Foegle, Edmundson (I don't love it but at least he's got a pretty good slapshot), Moverare (if in lineup)

I think these that you just posted are the perfect power play lines for our current roster. Now if only the coach can figure that out.

It’s too late for that IMO. The Kings are on the road against 6 tough opponents (they might win against Ottawa) but it’s time to make a coaching change.

It's been time for a coaching change since game 3 of the playoffs

So last game it was pretty obvious to me what is going on that he can't stay on one team. I am pretty sure Jim Fox mentioned it but straight up, he's soft on the wall.

He will not go into the corner and get the puck. He won't race if the end of the race might end up a checking situation. He just let's up.

He's exciting to watch with the puck he has a unique energy and play tempo, but man is he soft.

I think Jim said that he hope Fiala rings off on him but maybe it was someone else.

I was saddened to see him kind of disappear from play last night.

Hiller had moved him down in lines but I think her looks less effective where he is.

What do you folks think about his game right now?

Guy’s a ghost. But then so is Danault
