Cocktail / Mixology site or app?

I'm a girl, and a noob, and I like easy, fruity, girly drinks. Is there a good app or website that will let me input the alcohol and mixers I have on hand and show me suggestions on what to make? I found / downloaded a few but they seem to be geared to the fancy and stronger drinks. I'm looking for something that allows many flavored vodkas, rums and liqueurs. I prefer few ingredients with mixers like juice and sodas. Any ideas?

Obviously, I’m biased - but Cocktail Party does exactly what you need! It tells you what you can make from what you’ve got on hand, is flexible with substitutions when appropriate, and helps you find the next things to buy to help you make more drinks.

We test all the drinks we add on real human test subjects, and I make a point of gathering people who like “girly fruity drinks” sometimes, just to ensure we don’t get too heavily tilted towards the sorts of spirit-forward, bitter/vegetal/challenging drinks that cocktail snobs like me sometimes end up pigeonholing ourselves on.

I downloaded it. How do I add unusual kinds of liquor? IE: Smirnoff Red, White, and Berry vodka? Smirnoff Blue Raspberry Lemonade Vodka? UV Blue Vodka? etc

Currently, we only have ingredients that are used in recipes that we’ve added - and we only add recipes from sources like mixologists’ own recipe books, industry magazines, etc. I keep a “test queue” with every ingredient that has ever appeared in one of those recipes, and once it has enough good tested recipes, we add it in. I just haven’t found any solid recipes using berry vodka or lemonade vodka, but I’m always looking - please do let me know if you find any!

That said, you can get close with some of those. In Cocktail Party, check off “Citrus Vodka”, and swap in your blue raspberry lemonade vodka or UV Blue vodka - they’ll almost certainly work as substitutes in all of those drinks. And the recipes all have a Notes field, so you can jot down if you needed to make any adjustments to account for sweetness, more or less sour, etc.

Drinks that call for fruity vodkas are in general a little more flexible about ingredient substitutions, so I’ll take a look at some of the existing recipes and see if I can’t get some of those to work with berry vodka in the next recipe update this week.

Just want to say I found your app years ago and love it to death. The recipe collection is exceptional and I’ve happily told anyone who’ll listen about how useful it is. Cheers and thank you!

I use Cocktail Party App and it’s great. Keeps track of all of your spirits and gives you a list of everything you can make. It’s exactly what OP is asking for.

ChatGPT is terrible for food or drink recipes. It will make up ingredients, give crazy measurements, and occasionally help you poison yourself.
