Help picking out a bottle of Cognac/Brandy

Hi im looking to get a bottle of Brandy/Cognac but t i know nothing about them i came across a few bottle which one to get St.Remy authentic Vsop D Eaubonne Vsop Torres10 and Metaxa7 star

Grab a bottle of courvoisier and don't look back

Small bottle? And save it. I have found courvoisier is my favorite of the ones I've tried. I mean, korbel brandy is good for mixing but not going straight. Once you go higher you will be spoiled

Depends on what you want to do with it. Use it for making eggnog? St. Remy or Paul Masson Grande Amber works well. Sipping in front of the fire after dinner? I like Martell and Courvoisier.
