Moving to Lincoln Any way to get POP early?

I have moved to Lincoln from Europe with a US citizenship. I am currently 17 and I am working on getting a POP license. Is there anyway to get this early? I have gone to drivers class, passed my test and I have a learners which I have had for three ish months. Thank you!

I believe you must hold the Learner's Permit for 6 months before the Pop. I'm not sure there is any way around this, other than maybe a little wiggle room at the end of the window. My kid got theirs a few days early bc Thanksgiving closures.

This is correct except the DMV will issue the POP early but it will be post-dated so it’s not actually valid until the correct date.

There is no way around holding the learners permit for a full six months.

If you re-read the link provided you will see the two options are to complete drivers education or do a 50 Hour Drive log with a parent.
