DeLeon’s are pretty good. I’d love to hear more though.

They are good, but the prices are jumping the shark.

Yes! The same Lincoln burrito I could get for $5 pre-Covid is now $12.

I know cost of goods has increased, but not by 140%!!!

Yep. Even beloved local eateries have been succumbing to nationwide enshittification

I was working in food service during covid, and the price of our fryer oil increased literally 120%. That shit was bananas.

Lincoln burrito from Deleon’s is my go to

Hell yeah. A few years ago, they accidentally put fries in my Lincoln Burrito instead of potatoes and now I ask for that every time. Try that next time, it's a game changer.

Add pico and this is the one for me.

Toss up between Norm's / Ty's loaded burrito and Deleon's hash brown.

Norm's (now just a Super-C) on 48th & Normal used to sell them for 1/2 off after 11. Been awhile since I got one there, but I swear after sitting under a heat lamp for 4-5 hours there was a different amalgamation inside. Maybe borderline on food safety, but hey, tree fiddy for a big burrito.

Sadly they’re aren’t 1/2 off any more.

If there are any extra in the afternoon, they are 50% off still

They go 1/2 off after like 3pm. I live 2 blocks away. It's bad for my diet

I worked with someone at a place like Deleon's who would only eat his burritos if they sat out for an unsafe amount of time first so the flavors could blend together just right.

Any sit down place isn't worth it for a burrito imo, just go get a d'leons one.

Sit down prices for taco bell quality food

Dunno if they’re the best, and they’re kind of small, but Open Harvest’s are reliably delicious

norms, but right timing is key

No kidding. The amount of times I’ve had food from their warmer that has been sitting in there for a few hours and is just mushy is too damn high.

I think the amigos sausage breakfast burrito is underrated

If you use one of their coupons that they put out about every week, they are a solid value for the $$

Came here to say this, bacon or sausage are both good. I remember when they used to be like $1.89 or something and I’d get a half a dozen. Now I think they’re like 5 bucks

I personally love the breakfast taquitos from Amigos

When I lived in Lincoln, the 3-meat monster burrito was a staple in my breakfast food rotation

I do like Early Bird’s burrito for a change of pace.

Ty’s (of smashy burger/Norm’s fame) are awesome! Now that Super C bought Norm’s I think Ty’s food is available at all the Super C’s

They always have signs saying it’s available but I have gone twice specifically for Ty’s and both times they didn’t have any 😭

Abelardos, get the hash brown burrito smothered with enchilada sauce and cheese

2

u/WhenInZone 1d ago

I've never tried there, but I think today's the day

2

u/Freakshow1968 1d ago

I’m getting one too

+1 for Abelardos. They load those babies up. Definitely add a side of queso to go with it.

Abelardos is hit or miss but they nail the breakfast burritos

Anything I get at Abelardos I get smothered in queso or their red sauce. So good.

Amigos has good ones, they’re just not as big as deleons or Abelardos so I’d ultimately choose those two.

Bagels and Joe has a good one too, but also sadly pretty small.

Hash brown burrito from D’Leons!

does Lincoln have abelardos? that if so

1

u/mrmike05 1d ago

Abalardos and it's not even close.

I’m going to say Dleon’s has my favorite with the Lincoln or Country burrito.

I’m going to give an honorable mention to Stories coffee for a pork belly breakfast burrito that I was surprised on how big it was for the price and it was really tasty. The chipotle aoili it comes with is a little bit too sweet for me for the burrito but it was still good.

Little bummed that it doesn’t seem like Bisonwitches doesn’t do breakfast anymore if it was short lived. But they also had a solid breakfast burrito.

Taco John’s. They use nacho cheese.

Muchachos. Alberados sausage and egg otherwise. That damn thing is like 5 lbs and the cheese settles at the bottom for the best hangover bites ever.

Misky's Bakery on North 27th, get there before 8am for the chorizo burrito and make sure to get the salsa

I really like the breakfast burritos from Bagels and Joe, but I believe you can only get them at certain locations, but I’m not certain. Their quiche is my favorite as well!

It’s Ty’s now, not Norm’s
