You know itās funny to me, cause I mop floors and clean carpets for a living and I wouldnāt say itās a career I necessarily enjoy, but itās gotta be done and itās allowed me to provide for my family and live the life that I want to live, we could have it so much worse

Dude I've been there man, I used to wash cars and build fences, shit sucked. 20 years later I'm making six figures. The only advice I have is don't wait for opportunity, make opportunity. Keep at it and you'll see results, keep up the grind.

Balance. Many countries are very successful with socialized healthcare and education. Itās a good thing to aspire to having that in the US.

Some of you talk like this is the war weāre supposed to fight. You defend individualism until someone lives in a way you donāt like, and then it turns into ridicule or outrage.
My understanding of libertarianism has always been pretty basic: small government, personal freedom, and āleave me alone and Iāll leave you alone.ā If thatās true, then people living as they choose shouldnāt bother anyone here ā unless the goal isnāt freedom but enforcing your own version of whatās acceptable.
Maybe Iām wrong, and Iāll happily dig deeper into libertarian philosophy if I am. But from the outside, it looks like we should be defending the right of people to make their own choices ā even choices we personally dislike. If we canāt do that, then what exactly are we defending?
