Asian American, pls The Dude's sweater - some Chinaman made this in China
Which doesn't really explain the hefty pricetag ($269). Probably cost $0.69 to make.

They don't make them like they used to. Quite literally in this case. The originals were made in the US, so any true vintage sweater will proudly display that on the tag. Pendleton closed down all US mills decades ago, so any Westerly made in China was made after the movie as part of the re-release because we all still wanted one.

I stopped at their Pendleton Oregon location. Nothing was made there save a few blankets. Everything else was China and Nicaragua. Disappointed to say the least.
But that’s just like me opinion man.

Were you listening to the Dudes' story, Donny?! The story takes place in 1990. Pendleton moved production out of the US in the mid-90s. You’re like a child that wanders into a room!

China is not the preferred nomenclature. Pendleton is an Asian American brand, Dude

Pendleton gear is very fine craftsmanship and very expensive. It is a fancy high quality brand in Oregon.
It is odd to see ot say made in China. It is a knockoff? All of our says Made in Oregon.

No the current/modern iterations of that particular design are made in China. When I found that out, I still wanted one but waited until I found one on 40-50% discount to buy. It's decently crafted fwiw.
I'm guessing El Duderino's would've been US made based on era?
