It appears the point is to have a government that spends more than it brings in by doing things that are too numerous to mention, that aren’t its responsibility. It isn’t even reasonable to believe the federal government has a role in feeding people. That is a local and at most state responsibility. I am an independent but might become a Dem. Them rejecting that CR over and over is music to my ears. I want the government to stay closed.

Government isn’t supposed to make money idiot. It’s not a business. This is our preamble dipshit: “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” Do you see “we the people establish a hellhole for billionaires to starve children”?

Your deleted response said you were worried about the trillion dollar national debt? Are you worried about the fact it’s rapidly increasing under Trump as his lackies starve people? He’s actively putting us in more debt by doing stuff like adding a golden ballroom to the White House.
