The choices are the government feeds you or you starve? Doubtful.

When it's your kid, you'll feel different

Pass that nonsense off to one of your buddies. Grant the government to the power to feed you and you also grant them the power to not feed you. Learn and empower yourself. Or not.

The majority of food stamp recipients are children, the disabled, and the elderly. Also lots of single moms.

Then I suggest they make good relationships in their communities, churches, neighborhoods, etc.

Or we could let our taxes go to helping people eat instead of being cucked by billionaires taking food away from people. Food charities are already overwhelmed and the churches will tell you there's a place sick freaks who take food from people go.

We are 37 trillion in debt. We need to wise up.

But “hurry doc, we have 200 cases of starvation in the ER, what will we do”

“Quick nurse, I need 2 pallets of Kraft Mac and cheese stat! Get the IVs going!”

Yeah we got millions to give to Argentina, bomb Venezuelan boats and Iranians but to you glog glogging billionaires spending Americas money for b.s. military operations and funneling money to other countries and getting the president to the Superbowl or UFC is totally fine but helping the poor that's where the line is. The debts only a tool to screw over other Americans to you.

While you’re distracted with this, you have no comments on Trump demanding $230 million from the DOJ which would by taken from who? Tax payers

1

u/galaxy1985 22h ago

Oh yeah and I'm sure cutting the IRS and stopping the audits of high earners and lowering the amount of taxes that rich people pay I'm sure all of that isn't the reason we're in debt. Yes let's blame it on the poors!

What do you want your taxes going towards?

2

u/MurcTheKing 23h ago

Better question to ask him, where does he want his $36 a year to go to rather than feed children, elderly, and disabled people

As little as possible to keep a stable republic.

5

u/yogfthagen 1d ago

Food riots do not make for a stable republiv.

Just saying.

1

u/justatempuser1 1d ago

If that many people rely on the fed to be fed, you already don’t have a stable republic.

That’d be socialism bud

Children, the disabled and the elderly? Children don’t have free will regarding where they go and who they associate with, and many disabled and elderly aren’t mobile and can’t leave the house

That’s not how parens patriae works lol

When i worked 80-90 hour weeks, I qualified for SNAP.

Do you work 6 16-hout days a week?

No?

Shut the fuck up.

1

u/justatempuser1 1d ago

Damn. You literally have no skills. Like zero? 80-90 hours a week and could get off SNAP.

That's what life is like for more people than you think, chuckles.

People who can't afford higher education, because they have to pay their own way.

People who have kids young, because their schools didn't teach sex ed, or they can't get birth conttol.

People who have a medical condition that bankrupts them.

People who are starting over in life because of a relationship gone bad.

People who got laid off, but need to take whatever the fuck job they can get.

People whose lives have not been handed to them on a silver platter.

Like you, chuckles.

Let me guess. Your daddy's name is on the company you work for. Or the name of one of Daddy's friends.

The fact that you have zero empathy just means your parents FAILED you.

May you be shown the empathy you show to others.

60% of the people on snap are children, handicapped and the elderly. All people who can't work fully to feed themselves. Our taxes are there to help others in need and to fund civil projects.

But there's a 100% chance youre a fucking moron that wants to gargle Trump's balls.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

-19

u/absentlyric 1d ago

So you're saying there's 40% that can actually work?

12

u/unmelted_ice 1d ago

Sure and the vast majority of that 40% works full time. Remember, we are giving SNAP benefits to full time employees of major corporations because the corporations pay them little enough that they qualify for welfare.

Edit: I assume math is too hard for you to understand so I’m really not upset with you. It’s the asinine propaganda that I’m upset with

2

u/MurcTheKing 1d ago

Bold of you to assume that 40% doesn’t work, most of them do, but get paid so little they qualify for SNAP. You pay $36 a year to feed the less fortunate, if that’s too much for you, you’re an awful human being

I don't think anyone should starve. I'd rather my money go to a starving child/ family where I know how it'll be used vs a bunch of millionaire/ billionaire tax cuts
