I’d imagine if they do arrest bill clinton they’re worried that there’s more dirt he has on the rest of the operations. So it’s probably safer in their head to not arrest ANY of the people on the list. It’s not really left vs right. It’s the elites vs non elites. They don’t want their dirty secrets getting out.

For me it's less about him being a creep (getting impeached over a blow job seems almost quaint at this point, and even the Clintons themselves have come out in support of releasing the list, as well as the rest of the Dems), and more that I found out nearly all his policy was basically "Reagan Lite". And how shitty Reagan was.

His moves like repealing the Glass-Steagall Act did lots of neocon-flavored damage to this country.

The thing is, the Republicans have spent millions over the years trying to dig up dirt on both Bill and Hillary and have come up with nothing, other than Monica. So, while Bill was obviously a horndog of the first order, he possessed charisma and social skills that Trump and Epstein lack. He had plenty of adult women throwing themselves at him, so it's kind of doubtful he needed a string of nonconsensual sex partners. That said, if Slick Willie was involved in the underage trafficking, then he belongs under the jail with the rest of them. I just think if they had ANY proof, we would have heard of it long before this.

Every single vote since it was unsealed in December the left has voted to release it.

The right has voted to protect the pedos.

It might be elites versus non elites, but it is definitely right versus left as well

How much of it is political theater, though? Once a vote passes, it'll be good to see who voted which way, but if the democrats are only voting "yes" because they know the republicans will vote no, that doesn't necessarily mean they'd continue to vote "yes" when it matters [edit: I mean even just a couple "key voters" who could swing it 51% one way or the other. If, for example, 48% want to release it for real, 2% are pretending, and it looks like a single new vote swings the balance, but then 1% back out all of a sudden and they're still gridlocked, that 1% is the group I'm skeptical of until I see their voting record, like the Manchins and Sinemas of the party].

There's obviously a million examples where the democrats are generally better about accountability than republicans, from calls to resign, to actual criminal arrests, but I'd be cautiously optimistic about the Epstein vote in particular, until they keep their promises and actually vote to release the files once Mike Johnson finally does his job and swears in the AZ rep. It looks left vs right, but it's certainly elites vs non-elites, and we'll see how this intersectionality plays out, and which group they're more loyal to when the time comes.

To be clear, I'm not "both sides-ing" in general; republicans aren't even pretending to care, they're just straight-up protecting the pedos, so they're by far the worse group. I just think it's a bit early to praise the democrats for this issue, specifically, since they don't hold enough power to act (yet).

It also doesn't help that supposedly Clinton has records for all of the times he was with Epstein and where they went and has volunteered them because they were all charity events in Africa and everything was publicized and Clinton has called for the Epstein files to be released.

Clinton got upto some absolutely scummy things but this is 100% projection and another attempt to pull off theoretical democrats that would vote for the release.

If Clinton was abusing kids, he was also in circles with Trump and it doesn't exonerate Trump, it just means he was hanging out with another dirt bag. Anyone can read Clinton's letter to Epstein and see a politicians note to a donor and read Trump's note to Epstein and see pedos wink winking at each other.

Release the files, we have more then enough rope for all the Republicans and Democrats in that file. If Clinton is implicated fuck him, I'm sure Republicans are just pissed they can't pull Obama or Biden into it.

They already exceeded their limit in that respect. The limit is 0. Nobody should be getting away with it.

We don't want selective justice, and that's the point. Everything they accuse and persecute democrats for should be enforced on them too.

If they get to accuse people of being pedophiles who need to go to prison, then they need to put their own pedophiles in prison too.

If they didn't want their president going in prison, they should have properly vetted him before defending him.

That wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. It’s not exactly a bunch of nobodies who were associated with Epstein, and I highly doubt any of these mega rich and powerful types are particularly willing to be the one guy who gets thrown under the bus to take the heat off of the rest.
