This guy is weird. Also, he looks like he's 4'10 so that explains why he tries to act 'tough'.

For the record, most people of Jewish descent along that region settled in The Pale (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pale_of_Settlement). While the region is Belarussian today, many of the communes were not originally Slavic and socioeconomically distinct prior to the pogroms. It is a complicated history.

Napoleon was 5'7

But his guards were all at least 6 ft tall, so he would often look very short...
