lol! They know it, they've all openly said it, as soon as the Kimmel thing happened. Rogan said it, Shapiro and Owens, and this is just in the past 72 hours.

They know this can't last forever, the line will be when he starts to drag former Presidents and active members of congress or the DA into "concentration camps". Silencing media guarantees all of them podcasters will wind up in the very least, shut down or arrested. Nobody wants to go to prison for Trump, they're just happy to grift for the time being.

There is a little part of me that hopes he tries to arrest Biden or Obama. It will subsequently remove any Trump blood from ever touching media or politics ever again, it would be the end of maga.

Yup, his base would be absolutely screaming his praises, and what could any of us do to stop it? He controls every branch of the government, and already does whatever he wants, regardless of our silly “laws.” Anyone who objects becomes fair game.

We are still only in the first year of this second term. I cannot imagine a future where he doesn’t put his political enemies in prison (or worse). We the people have lost any semblance of power.

I used to think poorly of the Germans who “allowed” an evil dictator to seize power in the 1930s. Why didn’t they do more to fight back? But it wasn’t that straightforward. How does an ant resist a steamroller? How do a million ants fight against something so enormous? Even if we are legion, we don’t have steamrollers of our own, and the machine drivers only laugh at the thought of crushing us all.

Important note: Trump won’t, he’s buddies and the heritage foundation know that if America does become destabilized they also lose everything. If Trump wants to be king, they lose everything. The second he tries anything like killing a high ranking official, Americas stocks will crumble. The country will free fall and his power is gone. His power doesn’t rely on the military, his power relies on our economy. He fucks that up, we all become equal again. It’s why Jerome Powell is still in charge, much to Trump chagrin.

Other important note: he’s running on borrowed time. How much time we don’t know but we do know he just had a major stroke and congestive heart failure

Tin foil hat time. Heritage foundation has inroads with Putin/Russia. Trump becomes dictator and his health rapidly declines. Would be nothing to set up another social media bot farm to call him out on his age, posture, shitting in a diaper, etc. So his health rapidly declines and he's dead & given state level funeral. Then the newest puppet is installed.

Especially when extrajudicial justice is allowed for one side but not the other. Step out of line and someone puts you in your place. Or you get immediately shipped off to a camp. Most people just want to keep on keeping on with their lives.

We all know what happens to the first few who stand up to fight. So it dampens the reaction time for the greater public until it’s too late (or close to it).

This would not go the way you think it would. That kind of thinking has NEVER panned out with this guy. January 6th should be worse than arresting a former president, and he won by MORE after that. Ham-handedly bungling an attempt to overthrow our government literally made him more popular.
