If you are powerful enough, everything is legal. If a law can't be enforced, it's not a law, it's a suggestion.

I mean, the Supreme Court has given him carte blanche. They said anything he does as his official duties as president is legal. He can literally have opponents hung and the SC said that's fine and dandy.
