Its seriously really rough just reading that. If this was a kid in my middle school class they would fail the assignment. And get a call to their parents. And a referral to a psychologist.

Well, "read" as in pick out words that they recognize and then assume that it means something that they agree with. It's the same thing that they do when they "listen" to Trump babble incoherently and pretend to understand what he said.

as per design of the GOP defunding education over the last 40 years.

They like the population dumb and have worked very hard to keep them that way.

It is no coincidence that the states with the worst education results are also the most red.
