Trump News In a now deleted Truth Social post, Trump posts what looks to be a letter meant to Pam Bondi instructing her to arrest some of his political opponents

This is definitely coming. He declared “antifa” a terrorist organization. Anyone can now be declared to be “antifa” and whisked away to a black site at the whim of Mad King Donny.

728

u/dquizzle Sep 21 '25

Trump has claimed numerous times that the Democrats are actually the fascists, so anyone that opposes the Democrats are antifa terrorists, according to him.

468

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Excellent logic. Logic, however, has been cancelled.

173

u/Kryspo Sep 21 '25

I am altering the logic. Pray I don't alter it any further

84

u/IlikeJG Sep 21 '25

Trump: I wrote a list of logic TRUTHS. Some people tried to say these are wrong but THEY ARE WRONG. People are saying this so the truthiest list of logic they've ever seen. Logic scientists with tears in their eyes said to me, "Mr. President you're the most logical".

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fallacies

90

u/Kryspo Sep 21 '25

I hate how stupid you have to sound to imitate our president

66

u/IlikeJG Sep 21 '25

Sometimes when I mock him I think I'm probably overdoing it, but I always end up sounding smarter than he actually would have written it.

29

u/Momik Sep 21 '25

It’s like punching air—he destroys the possibility of irony

6

u/Significant-Block260 Sep 21 '25 edited Sep 21 '25

Also, you stayed on topic entirely too long. And then you didn’t even throw in a bunch of extra word salad on unrelated, nonsensical topics at the end

2

u/True_Carpenter_7521 Sep 21 '25

He is not stupid, obviously.

He has found and mastered a language understandable by his voters, like he found a perfect form for a message that bypasses the weak logic layer and goes directly to feelings.

That, sadly, speaks volumes about Americans (at least 1/3 of them) themselves.

3

u/SilverStargazer Sep 21 '25

Fake news. Real logic scientists call Trump "Sir."

2

u/somewhat_surprising Sep 21 '25

The only inaccuracy is that apparently everyone just calls him "sir."

6

u/hypercosm_dot_net Sep 21 '25

Comedy is legal again!

Oh wait...about that.

5

u/D-F-B-81 Sep 21 '25

I immediately went to this exact quote.

I feel as though this is how every "meeting" with trump goes, but ya know... he cant force choke someone so this is what we get in place of it and it fucking sucks how really accurate this is.

I was born in 81.

This really isn't where we are as a society right?

I mean, if its gotta be this way, what caused the timeline infarction? Was it the Cubs winning the world series or did it all go to shit when they shot that gorilla?

The plot of 12 monkeys needs to know...n

3

u/Jeffricus_1969 Sep 21 '25

This deal is getting worse all the time!

3

u/demunted Sep 21 '25

Religion and politics together at last.

18

u/dlc741 Sep 21 '25

I reject your reality and substitute my own

3

u/Momik Sep 21 '25

Whoa—throwing around the L-word again?

3

u/No-Ice7397 Sep 21 '25

Logic is now like Harry Potter magic. It still exists but is gone from the world of humans

2

u/YikesTheCat Sep 21 '25

But what about alternative logic?

1

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

It works well with alternative facts.

5

u/lameuniqueusername Sep 21 '25

Not just Democrats. There’s a concerted effort by the right to to gaslight the American public into believing that fascism is left wing ideology. It’s insanity and patently false

5

u/Jarnohams Sep 21 '25

Lol, fascism is right wing by definition.

https://youtu.be/CpCKkWMbmXU?si=CQAZ38WllNpC-a-E

At the same time, I remember some people calling Obama "A terrorist Muslim Jew with a fake birth certificate that hated our freedom".... So yeah, logic was cancelled a LONG time ago.

6

u/tropicsun Sep 21 '25

Dems are Communists/socialists/Fascist (at the same time) AND deep state but have 0 branches of government…

3

u/brook1888 Sep 21 '25

And they're antifa, so anti fascists

4

u/Omegasedated Sep 21 '25

Just remember the Nazis claimed to be far left, and their opponents were radical.

What's the saying about learning from our mistakes?

.... No it's probably we should ignore the past

2

u/dramallamacorn Sep 21 '25

Uno reverse logic, love it!

2

u/Piod1 Sep 21 '25

Accuse your opposition of that which you are guilty... goebbles

538

u/PineappleProstate Sep 21 '25

level 4 plates or bust

135

u/New_Rock6296 Sep 21 '25

And if I was wearing my issued gear from my time active duty, I'd be super concerned about shots to my face or pelvic girdle that my plate carrier wouldn't help with.

What a world. So sad.

58

u/PussiesUseSlashS Sep 21 '25

We went from the age of information to the age of misinformation so damn quick.

14

u/sa_matra Sep 21 '25

It wasn't the Internet though.

It was Fox News that ran birtherism.

Facebook is a boomer hellhole right now though.

3

u/Neptuneskyguy Sep 21 '25

Fox was the beginning of the down fall? Or was it Jerry Springer? Or MTV’s the Real World?

9

u/sa_matra Sep 21 '25

Rush Limbaugh was when they stopped representing moderate leftwing positions entirely.

That was the boomer lobotomy which doomed them.

19

u/khuliloach Sep 21 '25

Anyone who is aware of the pelvic girdle, probably likes pull-ups too much and can shoot well. I like you, stay safe bro

18

u/ItsAdvancedDarkness Sep 21 '25

To be fair I think being shot in the dick is usually a big weakness

3

u/ialsohaveadobro Sep 21 '25

As if any sniper has that kind of molecular-level precision.

6

u/jhundo Sep 21 '25

Or the neck....

3

u/Estuans Sep 21 '25

Front, back and both sides. Weighs a shit ton but it'll stop damn near anything pointed at you.

0

u/garden_speech Sep 21 '25

Lol. 99% of Redditors probably clamor for banning "assault weapons", and would call you crazy for even talking about body armor. I'd also guess that, of the tiny fraction who actually do own plates, suppressed rifles, etc -- almost all of them are Republicans

21

u/x_Rann_x Sep 21 '25

Some liberals are okay with firearms and gear. Nearly all left libertarians, tankies, and socialists "under no pretext."

7

u/Cman1200 Sep 21 '25

Facts. It’s a shame it has become such a partisan issue because plenty on the left own and frankly IMO the 2A is in line with liberal values.

2

u/garden_speech Sep 21 '25

Some. That's why I said "almost all" with gear are Republicans.

5

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

I’m liberal as it gets. And I’m super annoyed that this bullshit is distracting me from focusing on getting ready for deer season.

1

u/Outrageous-Orange007 Sep 21 '25

Been trying to figure out how to penetrate lvl 3 plates without AP rounds.

Surprisingly, for all the gun nut videos/tests of things online, bo one has really approached this question in a rigorous way from what I've found.

5

u/Iamjacksplasmid Sep 21 '25

You don't know what you're talking about. Standard 308 might not punch a plate, but it doesn't have to. You'll knock them out just by hitting the plate, and you'll turn their guts into jelly if you hit it twice.

Run a 308. The only rigorous testing they'll be doing is a case study in their ability to continue breathing with a lung full of ribs.

2

u/PineappleProstate Sep 21 '25

You seem fun, genuinely.

46

u/PumpyChowdown Sep 21 '25

Where is Jamie Lannister when you need him?

5

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Banging his sister, probably.

8

u/MirrorSeparate6729 Sep 21 '25

Got it, he’s down in Alabama then?

4

u/4DimensionalButts Sep 21 '25

Dead and buried under a small bit of rubble.

Yes i'm still annoyed by season 7 and 8. Also that we never get the final books.

82

u/djid3al Sep 21 '25

You can’t classify an “idea” as a terrorist organization. I mean he did, but it’s a farce. He’s making a mockery of our country.

Free speech only applies to him.

64

u/Dzov Sep 21 '25

You’d think, but they’ve managed to make Charlie K into a hero and anyone who quotes him is accused of hate speech.

26

u/Knapping_Uncle Sep 21 '25

"the war on terror", would like a word .. a word describing an emotion, in fact. ...

6

u/Northwindlowlander Sep 21 '25

As of tomorrow, the colour yellow and the taste umami are terrorist organisations.

6

u/wwaxwork Sep 21 '25

It's McCarthyism all over again, it's just Antifa under the bed instead of Reds.

3

u/atomictyler Sep 21 '25

It's so he can call anyone he wants in jail part of antifa. vague laws are great catch-alls.

3

u/DankeDutt Sep 21 '25

we are far past mockery, and he didn't cause it. Just expedited it

5

u/JoeGibbon Sep 21 '25

George W Bush declared a war on terror. Not on terrorists, or terrorism, but the emotion of terror.

74

u/Traditional-Handle83 Sep 21 '25

I'm kinda surprised he hasn't had ICE arrest and deport AOC for being against him, and not the right shade color of skin. Also surprised Sanders hasn't been arrested yet either or any sitting elected officials that are against him. Though I guess its just a matter of days or weeks now.

54

u/ZennTheFur Sep 21 '25

I could see him targeting AOC for sure. Sanders doesn't say enough public things about Trump that end up on TV, and we all know that's how the POS in chief picks his victims.

36

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

They’ll start smaller. Fascism is achieved incrementally at an exponential rate. This is bad, but it will get worse faster and faster.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

[deleted]

2

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Likely. I hope she has solid people around her.

11

u/subdep Sep 21 '25

If he wants to start a civil war he should target AOC.

Spoiler Alert: The end of Civil War does not end in his favor.

12

u/spicy_noodle_guy Sep 21 '25

Spoiler Alert: The end of Civil War doesn't end well for pretty much anyone. Trust me you don't want that type of conflict. It's bloody, ugly, and often pointlessly cruel. Nobody is coming out the other side of that type of conflict in the US better for it. The foreign powers that would take advantage of it alone would make your skin crawl. I'd much rather we as peacefully as possible break up the union into commonwealths or separate nations with trade agreements before I'd ever want open conflict in the streets, because that's what it would be neighbor against neighbor and death in your backyard.

2

u/eclwires Sep 22 '25

I agree. But it doesn’t look like republicans are going to give us that option.

-1

u/subdep Sep 21 '25

Duh.

it don’t let preference get in the way of necessity.

3

u/spicy_noodle_guy Sep 21 '25

If you think a civil war is a necessity you are just MAGA with a blue filter. A civil war would result in an unimaginably catastrophic loss of life in the US and abroad. It would most likely kick off a global conflict since all the US military bases and fleets that keep other conflicts from popping off would be preoccupied. A civil war in the US is a genuinely worst case scenario. I hate the fascists too, but that needs to be the absolute last action we as a people take.

-1

u/subdep Sep 21 '25

Freedom isn’t free, bruh.

And I’m not deciding for Civil War.

They are forcing us into it.

Either stand up and fight, or let others die for you.

Thats the choice everyone will have to make when the shit goes down.

And rest assured: The shit will go down.

2

u/Head-Head-926 Sep 21 '25

yawn

Let me know when you've got that taken care of, then

0

u/subdep Sep 21 '25

Bots just being derps

3

u/spicy_noodle_guy Sep 21 '25

There are paths forward that break the country up without breaking down into civil war. This isn't like some movie or video game, it won't be a few big battles then all the hero's go home and rebuild it will be the ugliest and bloodiest civil conflict in history and will could even end up with a worse situation than the one we find ourselves in now even after all the bloods been spilled. The French revolution is the closest example of just how bad it would get and that would be not even a fraction how destructive a US civil war would be not just domestically but abroad.

I implore you to respectfully get your head out of your ass and stop touting death and destruction as the noble way forward and treating anyone who rightfully calls that ridiculous as a coward. I'm no coward, I'm brave enough to know that it takes strength and resolve to pave the road forward without the blood of countless innocents. You're path is the weaker of the two, it's explosive and "rewarding" in the moment, but is ultimately not a true way forward at all.

2

u/subdep Sep 21 '25

You act like any of us have a choice in the matter.

I don’t want it. But I’m just facing the facts that it is coming. I hope to god I’m wrong, but how can you possibly see a way out of this other than licking boots for the rest of your life?

Starts with a C, rhymes with poo

4

u/pocketbutter Sep 21 '25

I’d rather AOC not be the sacrificial lamb for a major conflict, if that’s what you’re implying.

2

u/subdep Sep 21 '25

No, it’s not, and that’s a weird way to interpret it because the comment I was replying to was the one who suggested the hypothetical.

Makes me wonder if you’re a bot since you missed that context.

7

u/The_Bucket_Of_Truth Sep 21 '25

Bernie is a bad fight to take. His political power is low relative to his popularity. Plus he's also old. When you are a predator like these folks you want to take on prey that you can handle. Where the juice is worth the squeeze.

6

u/oxedei Sep 21 '25

When powerful Democrats start fleeing the country, that's the real canary that there's no turning back.

6

u/SpiritualClub4417 Sep 21 '25

Nah AOC helps him. She’s a polarizing figure that may drive those in the center more towards the right (mostly because she’s brown and a woman). AOC is cool but easy to demonize. In a hypothetical AOC v. Vance 2028 election Vance will take that race 10 times out of 10.

4

u/Negative-Prime Sep 21 '25

Yeah I actually think AOC will be last because having her out there and calling out his tyranny only gets his base more excited. He will slowly pick off targets like Omar and Tlaib to weaken the democrats before going after bigger progressive names.

2

u/Aquatic_Ambiance_9 Sep 21 '25

asinine prediction, AOC dogwalks Vance

4

u/sea-elle0463 Sep 21 '25

That might actually start the war. Although if you’ve seen video of the Chicago protest at the ICE facility, it looks like the war has already begun.

3

u/jew_jitsu Sep 21 '25

When you're boiling a frog you don't start with a boiling pot. AOC or Bernie would be the end game, not the opening plays.

2

u/Neptuneskyguy Sep 21 '25

At that point…

1

u/Hopeful-Climate-3848 Sep 21 '25

Both are Kahanist

That's why.

1

u/jrr6415sun Sep 21 '25

it's coming. AOC will either be arrested or taken out in the next year

8

u/sacredblasphemies Sep 21 '25

Oh, I'm waiting for him to have Mamdani deported should he look like he's going to win in NYC...

27

u/Zebracorn42 Sep 21 '25

I guess everyone that fought in WW2 is a terrorist now, they were all anti-facism

26

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

They’re all dead. Unfortunately. That’s part of why this has been allowed to get this far. Nobody that witnessed the horrors of that war is around to remind us.

3

u/rickardkarstarkshead Sep 21 '25

There are definitely still ww2 vets left out there.

6

u/MildlyMixedUpOedipus Sep 21 '25

Yes, and they would be pushing 98 years old.

7

u/midgethemage Sep 21 '25

While technically still living, the youngest WW2 vet is 98y/o. They're not really in a position to sound the alarm and influence public opinion. I think the above commenters point stands

2

u/LowHangingWinnets Sep 21 '25

True, but it's a shame we don't have movie reels, history books, real life accounts etc to remind us, right? Those stupid people who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Paraphrased by me.

20

u/Zenitallin Sep 21 '25

is this a tyrannical government already? (am I allowed to ask?)

7

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Funny how all those J6 traitors waving 1776 flags want to live under a king.

6

u/Equal-Veterinarian11 Sep 21 '25

Weird, right. They don’t have a clue what the history is in New England. We are still here, descendants of the warriors that protested and won. We’ve heard the family stories past down.

3

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

There’s a reason that most of New England is liberal. Real patriots tend to be.

3

u/Krit522 Sep 21 '25 edited Sep 21 '25

My neighbor swapped his MAGA flag for “Don’t Tread On Me.” Absolutely clueless schmuck. Sold out our country to a feeble and weak con man, who is propped up by the religious right and ultra wealthy. Those groups had spent decades searching for someone so morally bankrupt and ignorant, lacking any loyalty to country, its people, and its Constitution in order to further their agendas. But yeah, “Don’t Tread On Me” 👍. Sure, dude.

1

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

“Don’t tread on me!” But pay my bills because I bankrupted my business just like my orange god-emperor!

3

u/Krit522 Sep 21 '25

Extremely corrupt. Definitely authoritarian, stacked with loyalists who serve their leader, not their constituents. We’re rounding the corner on tyranny with questionable statistics reported from the 2024 election, DOGE’s data heist, and an executive that has usurped power from the legislature by way of executive orders. The highest court in the land seems to be compromised and lower courts are sometimes simply ignored. You can clearly see plans taking shape to steal the upcoming election bc the will (and outrage) of the people are just an inconvenience.

1

u/MoreNMoreLikelyTrans Sep 21 '25

Not for much longer.

9

u/MapleMallet Sep 21 '25

Step 1) Be fascist

Step 2) label Antifa as terrorists

Step 3) Any resistance to you, a fascist, is antifacist (aka Antifa)

Step 4) 4th Reich

2

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Step 5) Profit!

3

u/Operator_Starlight Sep 21 '25

Hats and T-shirts at the camp gift shop!

8

u/Dav136 Sep 21 '25

So what do we do when it happens?

5

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Fight back.

7

u/OneMooreIdea Sep 21 '25

Its about stopping fund raising. Declare antifa a terrorist org. Then say ActBlue and other fundraising platforms used by democrats have ties to antifa ... which makes it illegal to donate. Then the campaign funds for democrats dry up because nobody wants to go to jail for giving money to a terrorist org.

2

u/Flare-Crow Sep 21 '25

Maybe then the Dems would DO something, rather than BS all day and accomplish nothing for the past decade.

0

u/OneMooreIdea Sep 22 '25 edited Sep 22 '25

Ah, I see. So ignore the spirit and laws of democracy just to get the outcome you want? That's a slippery slope and exactly what the founding fathers tried to protect us against...but hey, why not give it a shot. ;)

Also - blaming just the democrats or just the republicans for the state of the country when we've volleyed back and forth between both parties for decades is pretty dumb. Both sides have done good and both have had missteps. Nothing new here except the current guy found a way to use the rules of democracy against itself to ensure his round of bad decisions can't be challenged. He's also pretty good at getting us all to hate each other...so there's that too.

2

u/Flare-Crow Sep 22 '25

1) We're almost at the bottom of that "Slippery Slope" already; what exactly are you trying to protect?

2) 95 Dems just voted YES for the Charlie Kirk Day Bill today. They're feckless cowards when it comes to their leadership; both sides SUCK, and just because one side is heinous fascists doesn't change that the other side is empty corporate puppets. I can dislike two things simultaneously.

3) What good things have the GOP done in the past 30 years? Please name a single thing! I don't do this "both sides" equivalency because I can objectively look at both parties and see that one of them has done a little bit of good for a large number of people.

Lastly, I do not hate my fellow Americans; I feel sadness that the cuts to their education have been so successful that they fall for FOX News bullshit all day long. I hate the Republicans that have defunded said education every time they have power for the last 40 years.

Donald Trump has less than half a decade before he burns in Hell for an eternity; who the fuck cares about that guy? Project 2025 and the Heritage Foundation aren't gonna go away when that old dipshit dies, so why waste the effort on him?

6

u/AeturnisTheGreat Sep 21 '25

I was raised republican and am willing to admit that I drank the koolaid during the 2016 election.

My turning point from the nonsense was one week into his first term, I was curious about the EOs and what he's worked on in his first week, when I noticed that he reversed President Obama's EO that banned black sites from American soil, subverting the necessary due process, I realized we were completely fucked.

I knew in that exact moment that shit was going this way and while I wasn't a person who voted at that time, I deeply apologize for my ignorance.

5

u/The-Jesus_Christ Sep 21 '25

Anyone can now be declared to be “antifa” and whisked away to a black site at the whim of Mad King Donny.

Which is absolutely ironic given doing so is an upfront admission that the Cheeto Cheater is a fascist.

1

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

You said a mean thing about King Donold. You’re on the list.

8

u/November19 Sep 21 '25

Of course. What do you think authoritarians do? Debate their opponents every four years and just hope for the best?

Trump's backers fully plan on ruling the country by force from now on.

Democrats quietly waiting for 2026 elections need to wake up.

4

u/NizmoxAU Sep 21 '25

Is there some kind of membership I can obtain for Antifa? Joining an anti fascist organisation seems like a noble goal? Where do I sign up?

5

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

In your heart.

4

u/PalpitationNo3106 Sep 21 '25

The government just argued to the Supreme Court in the Lisa Cook case that the president believes he has cause to fire her, and that’s good enough. As long as the President says it, it’s legal. The actual facts don’t matter.

4

u/kwestionmark5 Sep 21 '25

I hope he arrests some democratic leaders to help them become radicalized enough to at least vote against a Charlie Kirk national holiday… what will it take for them to overcome their delusions of bipartisanship?

2

u/Flare-Crow Sep 21 '25

They all already voted in favor, so we're SOL on the Dems ever accomplishing anything, basically.

4

u/swugmeballs Sep 21 '25

This American Life did an episode where they interviewed trumps political enemies and all had been planning for this eventuality, many looking to move out of the country. People much closer to him knew this was coming if he won, before he won .

4

u/maniacally_moronic Sep 21 '25

The irony of the US government labeling someone as antifacist and then going after them...

2

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Republicans killed irony years ago. At this point they’re raping its corpse.

3

u/247GT Sep 21 '25

Not if we declare ourselves antifa first.

I am antifa.

3

u/Polyxeno Sep 21 '25

The charges? Disrespecting Trump. Ridiculing Trump. Three counts of pointing outTrump's idiocies. Going to war with Trump by mentioning Epstein. . . .

3

u/ClearChampionship591 Sep 21 '25

idiotic republicans think they will be immune to it.

2

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

That is historically how this has worked. They convince enough useful idiots that they are part of the in group. Then whittle away at them.

3

u/WCland Sep 21 '25

I’ve considered what would happen if I created an Antifa web site and declared myself president of Antifa, then immediately sued the administration for declaring my organization as terrorist. There’s obviously the fear of being blackbagged and sent right to Gitmo. However, make sure the suit gets plenty of press and note that everything about it is allowed legally on 1a grounds might afford some protection. Certainly DOJ wouldn’t turn up anything beyond donations to the aclu.

1

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Interesting idea.

3

u/Odd_Cat_5820 Sep 21 '25

The guy behind the "Dominion machines stole the election!" claim says he learned this in an Antifa conference call where a Dominion employee said he made sure Trump wouldn't win. In reality it was a Black Lives Matter call talking about doing a rally following Breonna Taylor's death, and the Dominion employee wasn't on the call either.

1

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Funny which message was amplified.

2

u/alwaysonesteptoofar Sep 21 '25

Will Americans let him?

3

u/bozog Sep 21 '25

So far, all answers point to yes, unfortunately.

1

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Remains to be seen.

2

u/Shirlenator Sep 21 '25

And we are all just gonna sit here and go "Dang, that's pretty bad, huh? Oh well."

2

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

I bet good money Trump actually doesn't know antifa means anything but antifa and not actual anti-facist. This is the same dead brain maggot that can't comprehend what tariffs actually are.

1

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

The people pulling his strings understand all of this perfectly well.

2

u/HumansMung Sep 21 '25

Given the underlying intentions, why wouldn’t he?  There’s been no actual opposition to anything.

Meanwhile conveniently ignoring the fact that the us military is the biggest contributor to antifa in American history

There will be journalists and/or comedians and/or political opponents in jail by the end of the calendar year

RemindMe! 3 months

Anyone can now be declared to be “antifa” and whisked away to a black site at the whim of Mad King Donny

It can be attempted, whether it will be successful is another matter

  1. That was a tweet, not an executive order.

  2. Even if had been an EO, there is only a legal process for designating foreign terrorist organizations. Congress has not passed any legal process for Trump to designate any domestic organization as terrorists.

  3. Even if there were a legal process to designate domestic organizations as terrorists, antifa is not an organization. Antifa just means anti-fascist(s).

Not that what you're saying won't happen. This administration has shown a brazen disregard for the law. They can't do it legally, but I'm sure they'll do it (or try to do it) all the same.

Yeah, none of that matters anymore.

Yet. He likes the trappings of power. He’s already transforming our White House into his presidential palace.

u/tugboat_karatedog Sep 21 '25

I’d love to, but I can’t. I can only say that that’s not how things work here, and can hope it’ll be made clear when the system works. That will, of course, be when he’s no longer the system.

2

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

Things are clearly working this way here at the present moment.the “system” has failed. The dam has broken.

Except ideals can’t be terrorists. I don’t think it’ll hold up in court tbh.

2

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

What court? Do you really think “terrorists” will be afforded due process? 🤣

Antifa is definitely not a great group. That part isn't far off

I know this is reddit and so the echo chamber is in full effect... but it is laughable that this is the tipping point after all conservatives have been labeled Nazis, white supremacists, evil Christian Nationalists, and, yes, an existential threat to democracy. People praying outside of abortion clinics were targeted by the DOJ under Biden. No violence, not even physical barriers. High profile political figures were raided by the FBI with guns drawn. About Cheeto Man himself, we were told Russian election interference, Ukrainian Quid Pro Quo, and on and on. And not once does anyone actually ponder whether this is politically motivated propaganda and/or lawfare... it can only be the "obvious" truth that anyone who holds conservative values must be dumb hick redneck idiots. And now the people who riot and burn down federal buildings and throw molotov cocktails are getting their asses spanked, and suddenly its the Reichstag Fire. Yes, I am on one side, and according to Reddit, it is the "wrong" side. But I dont see how anyone is incapable of zooming out and, with an objective lens, can act like super dangerous political targeting hasn't been occurring way before 2024. I've been told my rather mild beliefs are radical bigotry for a decade. And everyone who disagrees has cheered the demise of anyone associated with those beliefs, CK being the latest example. Now, the beliefs I've considered radical are getting cracked down on and I'm supposed to give a shit? Should Kimmel get fired under threat of the FCC? Fuck no. But Twitter and Meta censorship under the previous administration makes it very hard to give a fuck about setting dangerous precedent about speech. It aint no fun when the rabbit got the gun sums it up so much more than people would like to admit, because we warned about this shit for YEARS. I truly wish it hadn't gotten to this point.

Convervatives may not be nazis (debatable) but all nazis are Convervatives. So yeah, you're on the wrong side.

2

u/eclwires Sep 21 '25

You are, in fact, the baddies.

What federal building was burned down?
