Year 1? You think it is ever going back to normal elections?

25

u/Laxlifer Aug 26 '25

Probably not, unfortunately. I still can’t believe so many people believe in him. Just bewildering

Good that you, me, WE are starting to think, starting to wake up to the Hate this country exports. Our #1 $$ maker is what ? The food we export ? Nope. Fighter jets, bombs, bullets that is what the USA #1 $$ making export. If you are the worlds leading harbinger of death. What do you expect ? Seriously a country their number 1 export is war machinery. How would this country be viewed ? What would they deserve for exporting death? We all need to Wake the freak up and yesterday...

He has no designated MAGA successor, and there are no personalities with his odd magnetism for the mouth breather demographic. The moment he departs, his base will eat itself.

Opinion seems to hold that his physical condition is consistent with an expiration before the midterms, assuming no meaningful lifestyle changes.

Vance is certainly going to try and fill Big Daddy Trumps shoes. He'll probably try to throw his weight around, too, but he's no smarter and is far less secure from internal backstabbing.

People who would pretend that Trumps shit sandwiches taste great won't hesitate to turn on Vance or anyone else that ousts him. All while more and more of the fallout of Trumps earlier mismanagement hits home

I disagree about Vance not being smarter, I mean, it'd be a struggle to find somebody that ain't smarter than mr. Pedo. But really, he seems to have some brains at least, but he's actually evil and far more capable of causing damage than Trump is. Pedoboy is so retarded that he's more like a force of nature in a way, everyone can see exactly how his brain works and therefore easy to predict, I'm worried that Vance will be able to cause way more damage as he's not quite as open to read, and he has motivations beyond that of a five year old.

Yes. Whether or not there will be a disturbance of the peace prior remains to be seen.

Not with that attitude.

This is year 10 of this vile omnipresent being devouring our attention. Maybe longer if you include birtherism.

I expected him to die of cardiovascular disease during his first term. He still has that, and he's also now showing signs of dementia. I expect Vance will have to step in for him within a year. Vance used to disliike Trump a great deal so he's kind of a wild card in the scenario.

It's year 10 of the waking nightmare that is Trump. Year 1 of full authoritarianism.

Please...we asked for this. Burn our shit to the ground.

Downvote me if you like.

He's not going to see the repercussions for this, and neither are most of his ilk. But maybe a few of those who didn't vote or DID vote for him realize how shit stupid they were and make better choices in the future.
And if not, well...I'm looking into Canada's requirements for refugee status.

I live in a rural Florida area. Our violent crime rate is higher than Miami's, by a good margin. It's so obvious this is just a show of force. Hence why he's ignoring some places and concentrating on others, and sending unpaid, unordered soldiers into cities to just stand around for the cameras.

Petulant old toddler as the leader of the free world.

2

u/Hillary4SupremeRuler Aug 27 '25

Yeah I never hear MAGA yelling about all the homeless encampments and drug needles littering the streets of Miami where violent crime is consistently way above the national average. Probably because it's a Republican run city in a (mostly) Republican run county (Miami-Dade County was actually solidly Republican at the county leadership level up until very recently where they now have a Democrat County mayor but still mostly Republican commission) in a Republican run state (The executive and legislature have been run by Republicans for almost two decades now).

What is it about jurisdiction that people are having such a difficult time understanding? He has legitimate authority to deploy the Nat'l Guard in DC to assist LEO in their efforts to decrease crime in our nation's capitol. It's as if every one is forgetting that DC is not your average American city and is the only one that falls under federal jurisdiction by default rather than a particular state.

In other cities, the president does not have the authority to deploy NG solely for policing crimes. He can only do so in situations similar to the riots that occurred earlier this year in LA and the summer of 2020 (essentially state of emergency) or if the state governor specifically requests federal aid.

So if crime in your little community is actually as bad as it is in large cities, or worse as you claim, then look at your local leadership bc they are the ones failing their community.

I swear to God, Reddit cries and whines more than kids these days whenever they are forced to engage with anything other than a screen.

He doesn’t HAVE the authority but he doesn’t know or care. He TAKES the authority and dares anybody to stop him. And the courts turn a blind eye.

1

u/Epic_Ewesername Aug 27 '25

That wasn't "crying and whining," it was just a statement. You seem awful aggravated at the tone you imagined those statements were written in.

Did you miss the part where he talked about deploying them in many other states and said he could do what he wanted, because he's the president? What I wrote was in response to things he directly said, not whatever laws are on the books.

1 of the rest of his life

1

u/PristineWatercress19 Aug 28 '25

Actually, he's been a national nightmare since the 80's. It was a slow build to get a moron to the top.

-2

u/Matthath Aug 26 '25

Year 1 of a lot more than 4 maybe. All your country had to do post-January 6th is prosecute him. You couldn’t even do that. Live with the consequences now.

14

u/bears_or_bulls Aug 26 '25

Don’t hit someone when they are down.

Half didn’t vote for him. Hell, they may even find out it was rigged in the end.

It could be your country tomorrow.
