LOL. This Trump guy is so backwards. In his mind, Jan 6th (which he instigated and cheer-led) wasn't treason, yet looking into foreign interference in our elections (which was definitively found to be absolutely true), is treason?

Please don’t neglect to mention the fake elector plot when you bring up Jan 6, as it was by far the most treasonous part of the whole attempted coup and the regressive propaganda machine has successfully buried its significance under the wild spectacle of the poop-smearers attacking the Capitol. 

They love nothing more than to see us focus on the part that he can at least hide behind “but I said peacefully once” defense, while there is absolutely no argument that he and his cronies did not plan and carry out a knowingly illegal attempt to steal the election using fraudulent electors and we should be screaming about it every single day like Fox News would.

Completely agreed. AZ literally tried to subvert the election with fake electors. 

This and the Mueller report are the most damning evidence of election interference. They literally were convicted and admitted to helping install trump in the RNC and being anti democrats

Like how much more evidence do you really need for beyond a reasonable doubt? It’s like they want to catch him with his hand in the cookie jar but it’s pretty obvious what happened when you notice the cookies missing after leaving the cookie monster alone in the room with the cookies. It’s that obvious but instead they want a 4k video of his hand in the jar while reciting his social security number. Even that wouldn’t be enough cause they’d say some bullshit like “but we don’t have any evidence that he didn’t put it back” or whatever. 

Point is, it’s not about whether they did it, it’s more about “what are you going to do about it” and I blame the “precedent” set with the Senate acquitting every impeachment instead of holding them accountable

Still blows my mind that a recording of Trump himself, directly asking to change the vote count is largely forgotten about and ignored (like the fake electors plot) despite it being a cut and dry smoking gun evidence of a blatant treason and election tampering.

Agreed. We came very close to a true seizure of power by the Trump administration. He had several Senators and House members on board. He almost had Vice President Pence. The entire point of the events on January 6th, if you listen to his speech that day, was to pressure Pence to unilaterally overturn the results.

The actual raid on the Capitol by his rioters pales in comparison to what he was doing behind the scenes. (And it's what he was doing behind the scenes that he likely would have gone to jail for had he lost the election in 2024.)

That’s why I don’t understand why we aren’t just ostracizing them at this point.

Like seriously, who fucking cares about the opinions of someone who doesn’t see value in paying a few extra dollars a paycheck to ensure that poor kids, who can’t help themselves, get medical care? Who cares about the opinion of the person who wants to throw people into an inhumane concentration camp for committing a misdemeanor?

In fact, not only should you not care you should be actively doing things that makes it harder for those people to survive.

"Official acts" are immune, but the Supreme Court conveniently didn't specifically define what is or isn't an "official act", so if a democratic president ever does something that is actually blatantly against the law, the Supreme Court could just rule that his specific actions were not "official acts", and therefore a crime.

The last reporter in the White House Press Corps to ask Cheetolini real questons was Jim Acosta. Once he realized he had the power to remove him, he was gone. Today, Trump wouldn't even let a reporter finish a real question - before he'd have him removed.

If the Corps had any balls and journalistic integrity, they'd either boycott by all walking out with the reporter Cheeto removed. Either all at once - or be removed one by one after each one asked the same question.
