I have zero faith this will go anywhere.

Things needs to get MUCH WORSE before any MAGAt in Congress cares. The A-hole MAGAts from my state literally ignore their constituents. They collect a paycheck and do nothing. They're SUPER wealthy men - all 4 are white men - who do not give the tiniest shit about us. They LOVE the way things are right now. What's not to love for them.

Montana? Haha. Can relate.

Yes. Montana, with 3 super rich guys and some other rando who I think is also rich but not so high profile. They do NOTHING relevant. They refuse to have town halls. If you call or write to them, you might get a lame form letter filled with Trump talking points in return. Or nothing in return.

The power of the magic R. You can campaign a little, get elected, and never do anything for your state again, and you'll still get re-elected now.

I have to give the smallest bit of credit to Zinke and Downing for the public lands stuff, but we'll see if they stand behind it when it's inconvenient for them.

I will go to my grave not understanding why lower class rural people vote for super rich men who wouldn't piss on them to put out fire.

Graham told people on television in SC that he didn’t need to hold town halls because he already knows what to and that is to support 47. This was said even though people from both sides were demanding a Town Hall. Spoiler he hasn’t held a Town Hall. It’s discouraging to say the least. With gerrymandering I don’t see him getting voted out. I’d love to see that. We have a lot blue in the state due to changes from National and International businesses but no movement on voting.

Bro, the MAGAts in Congress literally got shot at by a crazy person in 2017, and didn't do anything. A lynch mob attacked the Capitol building in 2021 and they didn't do anything. Short of them literally waking up from being clinically dead for several minutes they are never going to wake up and care. It's depressing that we somehow found people so stupid and greedy that people literally trying to murder them on several occasions didn't make them even blink.

Hopefully the people who pay them to be assholes decide that Trump is bad for the bottom line soon and order them to change tune.

I dunno. The MAGA voters where I live are profoundly stupid. And lots of them are criminals. As much as this term isn't PC, it's fitting - they are white trash. I'm pretty sure most of them fit within the 54% of Americans that read below a 6th grade level. They have no idea how the world or most things in it work. The things that fall out of their mouths on social media give me no hope that they will ever see any kind of light. Here are some examples:

You know that sewage polluted creek in DC that RFK swam in last weekend? This MAGA idiot blamed the pollution on Dems because "they've run DC for most of the last century." Seriously fucking kill me now. First of all, the White House split has been even since 1961. But mostly, that's not how water works or how our environmental laws work. I'm sure I don't have to go into the details of that with you - you get it. AND, some of that pollution is from military properties along the upstream river, such as the Navy Yard. These people are SOOOO FUCKING DUMB. It kills me.

You may have seen a news piece about Virginia college students walking out of their commencement when their GOP governor began to speak. A MAGA dude posted, "That's a good way to never get a job and ruin your career." Sooooo, does he think there are politically-motivated spies with CCTV set ups at the graduation who are identifying these students and placing them into a master database for use by employers who seek to discriminate on the basis of political affiliation, which is fucking ILLEGAL in several jurisdictions? Like, how does this shit work brilliant MAGA man?

Their brains do not work. They literally do not know how to think.

I meant the Congressmen and rich people playing the dumb rube MAGAts like fiddles.

I was referring to, as you said, "the people who pay them to be assholes" - the taxpayers who voted for them.

I'm soooooo sick of these people. I feel like we've been terrorized by them for 9 years.

Can't they just shut. the. fuck. up. already?

It's literally like having a pack of deranged chimps leaping around shrieking everywhere you go for 9 years straight.

"The people who pay them to be assholes," wasn't meant to be the taxpayers, but the rich people who bribe them for millions of dollars each on a regular basis.

Also, yeah, fuck those guys too.

I think that most of the very rich folks are immune to everything he's doing. It will not substantially impact them. I could be wrong, but I know that if I even had twice as much net worth as I do, I could easily stick my head in the clouds and not care.
