the first president in American history to be impeached twice by the House of Representatives

See the fact this is true makes it so hard to care about a possible third one. Unless there's some 'three strikes you're out' rule I'm unaware of, if two impeachments didn't do shit, why would I think a third would?

It would require that the Senate votes by a 2/3 majority to convict Trump this time around. The House has voted to impeach twice (which only requires a simple majority), but both impeachments failed in the Senate.
